More than the price of my MH also.Re: TV Antenna Question-UpdateThe antenna in question will work without the net (reflector) but not as well as with it. I'd say assemble it with the net as they are very light and don't have much wind resistance. I have two similar OAT antennas with reflectors. One for use with my camper and one on top of the garage on a 10' pole. Been up there for past 3 years without wind problems.Re: Seneca Lake AreaI second Sampson SP but haven't been there in a few years. If they are still there up the road a bit in the fenced in area is where lots of all white deer live. They are not albino's.Re: Difficulty Reducing Tongue Weight mkirsch wrote: I still don't know what your problem *IS* to even make a recommendation. "Tows poorly" is meaningless, and you *are* driving scared even if you don't think so. It's subconscious. You mentioned the accident and how it affected you. I would gladly make a recommendation, if only there was even a halfway concise description of a problem. Too much tongue weight isn't your problem, and trying to reduce it with ballast... You'll have over 2000lbs in the back of your trailer before you see an appreciable change in tongue weight. The axles are simply too far back for that to work. I still think his problem is that he is running "P" tires on his truck as I mentioned on page one. Needs to put at least LT tires on the truck. "P" tires have too much sidewall flex especially when towing.Re: Aftermarket Trailer HitchMany states have a firewood quarantine which means you can't bring your own firewood due to transporting invasive pests in the wood. If allowed, buy your wood at the CG you are going to visit.Re: Difficulty Reducing Tongue WeightWhat tires are on your F150? They should be LT tires at least E rating. Are they set to proper inflation? If they are "P" passenger tires that may be the problem. And as Tom mentioned trailer tires could be a problem too. especially if underinflated.Re: SPARE TIREMy spare is on the back but about 3' off the ground. That's quite high to lift a 150lb. spare wheel and tire. Requires 2 people. I like the mount you posted but I don't have space under the Class A to mount it. That would fit on my TT but not under the MH. Have you checked to see if you can mount it under yours?Re: What air compressor do you carry?I'm considering getting the 5 gallon 1.6HP 225 PSI Fortress compressor from HF. It will fit in a storage compartment in the MH. It can blow up tires, supply an air jack to lift the MH, run an impact gun for removing lug nuts. Just waiting for it to go on sale(its $379.99 now) For just a compressor for tires HF has a 6 gal, 1.5HP 150 PSI pancake compressor for about $120.Re: 2 Years with a Older Class AI too recently bought a used 2002 Tiffin Allegro Bay 35DA w/8.1L and Allison.
