ReyRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.Sorry to ask this because it's probably been answered...how tall is the c46540 after adding the wheel kit? I did some searches, but couldn't find the answer. Thanks, ReyRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.Mine didn't have any brackets, either. Also, my unit is much quieter than my B & S Toro lawnmower (though, by no means is it quiet). Maybe you have some parts shaken loose during transport. ReyRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info. Thanks Jim and Prof, If 10W30 changed frequently will work, I'll stick with that. Just one more different thing I won't have to carry. ReyRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info. jeebs08 wrote: Hello everyone...I have been watching this forum for quite sometime (quietly). I have just purchased my first travel trailer! I noticed the Champion RV edition--the C46540. My question is this-Do i just plug in my trailer to the "RV" plug in and it will have all power automatically? The only time I will use generator is for trailer. Thanks! Yes, this generator has 29.2 amps available at the RV outlet. Just received mine and will get it running tonight. One question, though. The manual says you can use 10w30 for most applications, but the website and a separate sheet of paper show straight weight SAE30 or SAE40 (depending on temps) and mention "non-detergent". Which would be better? Thanks, ReyRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info. jwitt wrote: NEW RV PLUG GENSET!! NO NEED TO REWIRE. I'm a newbe with this forum thing, so I hope I can get a picture to upload. I just picked up one of the new Champion RV model 3500 watt Gensets. I have been following the forum and was about to get the regular model and do the wiring mod. I called Champion Tech and was told that it hadn't shipped as yet, and they could not advise when it would. I later talked to their phone operator. She said it had been shipping for two weeks to the Kragen Auto Parts group. She was able to advise the new part # C46540. I checked with Kragen online searching the part number and there it was. No picture yet, but ships in 24 hours. Im happy, it has a 120-240 switch and of course the 30 Amp RV style plug (29.6amps:)). Also, 240 twist lock, separate 120 and the 12v. Well, I hope the picture follows correctly... JIM Did you actually order this online? If so, did you receive the correct model? I hate to use you as a guinea pig, but if you have already ordered it I'd like to know if they are shipping the new model. We don't have any Kragen's , etc. here. Rey
