I was out in Yellowstone four months hosting a campground. My first week there we had a park electrical surge while we were cooking in the microwave. The microwave blew. It's one of the fancy built in ones loaded with convection oven etc. Then IO ordered a surge protector(after the horse was out of the barn). It could have been the Fridge, tv, or A/C !
