After reading & digesting this info, one thing becomes evident - you need to zip right out of that shop. Go to your local neighborhood NAPA and get a recommendation for a repair facility. The longer you stay in that shop you are in, the more likely you'll get tripped up. Don't be surprised if they want to charge you for their work, just put the tab on your visa and cancel/protest the Visa bill immediately. Just had a similar situation...no 120v to the coach. Found that you cannot reset a GFI outlet unless it has power supplied. Once I reset the popped breaker, (which did not appear popped at all, but was) then I could reset the GFI and away we go! There is a slimeball Honda dealer in M**a, AZ that hit us with every trick in the book. I had one helluva time getting DW out of the chair in the finance office and out the door. She was so enamored with the car that I (we) gave in after a battle and bought the damn thing....I got my price, though. I would never recommend that dealership to anyone. Brutus' fix is the best. I've done it for my self & friends, and it works fine. I might add that the use of the plug with the 'handle' has a drawback . . . .... most pedestal covers are not deep enough to close with the handle in the way. Thus, the plug is not protected from rain. I asked the Camco people about this at Q-site, and the response was 'too bad'. 100% agree with the comments re punctuation. This forum is chock full of errors made by posters which can change or warp the meaning of the sentence. Other forums have similar probs, but this one takes the cake, in my opinion. I still have trouble figuring out how guys who can afford $150,000 RVs can't compose a sentence or spell simple words.152Views0likes0Comments
