Had to loosen and move the weight that's attached to the hose to keep line from kinking.Re: Walmart changing some storesOur local Walmart has turned into a truck stop. They even drop trailers and leave them. LOCAL tree trimming companies leave their trucks there over night daily. It's becoming a real eyesore.Re: How's the water in Gulf State park? Dcarner wrote: I'm headed to Gulf State park the end of June, How is the tap water? Most of the places we stay have good water so we don't run a filter. Do we need one there? Taste fine. No sulfur or funky taste at all.Re: over the hump floor matsOnly thing about over the hump mats is you need to vacuum them before taking them out to clean. Otherwise you just wind up dumping dirt etc. into the floor or your seats removing them. Wish I has not got over the hump.Re: Valve stem diameter allen8106 wrote: One thing to be aware of is that some wheels have a recessed hole where the body of the valve stem sits. Sometimes the nut that holds the valve stem together is too big to fit into the recessed hole rendering your brad new metal valve stems useless......happened to me!! Yep! The metal stems would not fit my aluminum wheels because of the recessed holes. Had to put in high pressure rubber snap in. So I don't know if I will continue to use my tpms or not.Re: Valve stem diameter Roger10378 wrote: Most are the .453. Thanks,Re: Valve stem diameter racer4 wrote: If you can't figure it out ahead of time, you can look for metal stems that fit either size hole, like these Vs-416. x2 on the aluminum wheels may have a recessed area around the hole that restricts what valve will fit. You could call the trailer manufacturer with the last 8 digits of the serial number and ask what brand/model wheels you have. They should have a build sheet on their computer for your trailer. Then call the wheel manufacturer. Thank you.Re: Valve stem diameter Trackrig wrote: I've never heard of different valve stem diameters for street vehicles, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. My air chuck and gauges fit everything from by bicycles to my tractor trailer. Having said that, we did have larger valve stems on our 20 yard scrapers. I'm waiting to see what others say. Bill The diameter difference would be in size of the whole in the wheel that the stem goes through.Re: Valve stem diameter 2oldman wrote: Aren't they all the same? Apparently not. .453 and .625Valve stem diameterI am going to replace tires soon and go from d to e rated tire. I will be using a tpms and need to go to a metal valve stem. How can I tell what diameter valve stem to order without removing the existing stem? My wheels are the factory aluminum wheels that came on my fw.
