All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: AlumascapeI emailed HR after I saw the article in Trailer Life and could not find info anywhere. They sent a sheet with floor plans but no other info such as weight and length. We have tried to get info on the Presidential also but it is very difficult to get anyone at HR to respond. We looked at a Presidential at the Good Sam Rallyin Atlanta. None of the salesmen seemed to know anything about it. IWe had a 1999 Alumascape and loved it. If they are truly back in the towable RV business their customer service certainly doesn't show it.Re: Heartland LandmarkWe have been Heartland owners for 3 years- 2011 Landmark Rushmore- after being Jayco and Holiday Rambler owners previously. We love our Heartland. We just returned from the Tn/KY owners rally. Check out the owners forum. It is super for info. We live in ours in AZ Jan-March for the past 3 years; took it to Alaska in 2012 for a 40 day tour of Alaska. Lots of very nice amenities in Heartland products. Their customer service has been very good. At their national rallies in Goshen in every odd numbered years they bring their techs and make repairs at no charge no matter how old the coach is. There are lots of vendors and seminars there also.Re: 2014 presidentialWe were in Goshen recently for an rv rally and called HR to schedule a plant tour. We were told they have again been sold and consolidating plants. No one seemed to know when production would resume and the product be available.Re: 2014 presidentialWe were in Goshen, In last week and called Holiday Rambler to request a factory tour. We were told they had been sold again and their future was uncertain. Does anyone have further info on this sale? The Presidential was supposed to be on dealer lots by now.Re: Designer 35RLTS and Jayco Talk...Thanks Frank!!We also had a leak from the antenna knob. The rubber cap on the roof around the wire had come up. We pushed it back down and used caulk to keep it in place.Re: Designer 35RLTS and Jayco Talk...Thanks Frank!!We have just spent 6 weeks in our new RLTS in Key Largo, Florida and love it. We had a pull out pantry installed where Jayco had shelves. Makes the kitchen so much more convenient. We do wish we had gotten the 2nd ac. In Florida's heat it was difficult to get and keep the bedroom cool. I too loved the Jayco35RLTS forum. Before this trip I learned so much about it- like replacing the floor vent in the bathroom with one that closes. We look forward to seeing other owners at the Jayco 40th anniversary in Elkhart in August.
