Big Tow Bar With Small Tow Car
Hi all, I'm new to RVing and this forum. I purchased a used 27.5' Class C about a month ago and now trying to get fixed up with a Tow Vehicle. The person that I purchased the RV from also has a Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 Offroad tow bar, rated for 10,000 lbs., for sale for over half of what a new one is. I am looking at a 2,400 lb. tow vehicle. My Question: Are the H.D. tow bars the same "hook up" to the car's bracket as a lighter tow bar or do I need a lighter tow bar.
