No climbing over each other for bathroom in the middle of the night. Dave 04 Excel TDRe: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Replaced the coolent recovery tank. Looked like a crack was starting to happen. Dave 04 P/W Excel TDRe: HeyMe, I am all set up for going to Quartzfest in Quartsite Wed. Dave 04 Excel tdRe: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Did my annual propane leak check. I put a pressure guage in the line, close the valve at the tank and wait for 10 min. Doesn't drop, good to go. Dave 04 Excel TDRe: 2001 Dodge Pleasure Way Lexor TDI would think if he bothered to rework the engine and transmission 2 years ago he probably kept the other things up too. I would have a good inspection done of the more expensive items especially and of course the price of the unit would be the determining factor. Dave 04 Excel TDRe: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Installed a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer. Helps. Dave 04 PleasureWay Excel TDRe: Roadtrek running too warm? One way to know if your getting too warm is if the radiator fan engages. Years ago I was going up hill in my 318 Dodge and the needle was going up. The fan kicked in and what a roar it made. The temp started going down right away. So if the fan didn't kick in your most likely ok. DaveRe: HVACHad the same thing happen on my 93 Dodge. Turned out to be my Sirius radio receiver that was installed behind the regular radio had shifted and crimped the vacuum line to an actuator. That vacuum actuator is located just behind the radio and I removed the radio to see it. Just a thought. Dave 04 Excel TDRe: Pleasure Way Lexor, older vs new, and vs ExcelMy first PleasureWay was a 93 on a Dodge. When I first drove it on the freeway it was unstable. Found out the dealer had the front tires at 80 psi. Lowered it to 65 or so and tightened the steering box and it was much better. Had an enclosed bathroom which we liked but after some years got tired of crawling over each other for the bathroom in the night. So got the present 2004 Excel TD. Enclosed bath like before a bit more room in the aisle way and twin beds. Love it. Works for us. Previous owner installed active suspension and used the heavy duty tires and it drives fine. I normally drive 60 or so depending on traffic cause I am in no hurry. I had it to 90 once to just check how it was. Not a good idea cause I found out the tires were rated to only 95 mph. Anyway find out which one fits for you and test drive it on the freeway and see how you like it...... Dave 04 PW TD.Re: RV Fridge with No Temperature ControlsI don't like the idea of the new one. I do use the 12 option once in a while. I like the idea of the refer I have being simple. No ignitor board, something else to go bad. Also it needs 12 volts for the board the one I have now doesn't use a board. I hope mine lasts a long time...... Dave 04 Excel td
