Have used to to change out a tire on my 3260 Bighorn at a rest stop and to replace all for shocks.Monarch Pass vs Vail/EisenhowerThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 29587135Monarch Pass vs Vail/EisenhowerLooking for the easier pull with my 2013 Ram 2500 diesel pulling 3260 Bighorn at the End of April. Will be traveling East on I-70 making my way to Colorado Springs. At Grand Junction can continue on I-70 East and go over Vail and Eisenhower Pass thru Denver to Colorado Springs or take Highway 50 south and west and go over Monarch Pass to get to Colorado Springs. About 1 to 1.5 hrs longer in time going over Monarch put not concerned with the time difference. Recommendations.Re: Spare tire help.All. Thanks for the info.Spare tire help. When doing a tire check on my 3610 Bighorn prior to departing noticed the tire stem valve was bad on one of the tires and replaced it with my spare. Spare is the exact same tire. Was able to get the tire fixed. Can I now leave the tire that was the spare on and finish our trip. Spare has never been used before and the tire it replaced has about 12000 miles on or will the different tread depth be an issue.Re: Any recommendations EPDM roof separation.Sent email below along with pics to heartland. Gary: Have a 3 year old 3260 Heartland Bighorn and in the last few months have noticed the Aluminum warp on the roof that runs the length of the trailer is separating from the underlaying luan board thus lifting the rubber roof and there is a 1/2 to 3/4 inch separation between the first and second sheets of the underlaying ply-board/luan board starting at front cap. Pictures attached. last 6 of VIN: 275711 Why should this be happening on a 3 yr old 5th wheel. Any recommendations to correct the problem and what can Heartland do to assist in fixing the problems? There answer: -After reviewing the photos this is what our opinion is with these two issues. The gap in the decking is more than likely where we make the natural break at the front. The radius looks pretty normal form the pictures. We can offer suggestions to fix it if you feels it’s coming loose, but no coverage for any repairs. Thanks ............. They must believe all us 5th wheel owners are idiots to believe **** like this. Will spend the rest of my RVing days recommending anyone that asks to stay away from Hearltland products.Any recommendations EPDM roof separation.Have a 3 year old 3260 Heartland Bighorn and in the last few months have noticed the Aluminium warp on the edge side of the roof that runs the length of the trailer appears to be separating some from the underlying lap-board/ply-board thus lifting the rubber roof. Also appear to have a 1/2 to 3/4 inch separation between the first sheet of lap-board/ply-board starting at front cap and second sheet of lap-board/ply-board under the rubber roof. Took it to the RV dealer and they inspected the roof. Found no leaks. I have also thoroughly inspected every inch on the inside and have found no water leaks or even stains any where. He stated they see this issue all the time and just keep an eye on and if you notice staples underneath the rubber roof carefully push then back down. As for the ply-board pulling apart it appears to have stopped and has not separated any further. Have pictures but not smart enough to figure out how to attach.Re: STORING 5TH WHEEL HITCH.All Thanks for the input. Sorry for talking so loud.
