I just think that if I made that statement as well as the hardware to accomplish it, I’d step up to do it on a clean sheet design building. Especially since they all have large plots of land for expansion. Although I can’t say I followed your thought train in the above from what I can tell you are offering to step up and get it done. Elon is on twitter. Give him a shout and let him know you are ready to go. :). Economics people, economics. Tesla GF got a very good deal from Nevada Energy that it's cheaper for them to draw from it than have a cash out and later depreciation cost that will hit their profit. and loss. And yes, I am against all corporate welfare and subsidies. Why the heck is the oil industry still. getting billions in tax breaks? We can start with that! Oil Companies get the same tax breaks (Deductions) any other manufacturing company gets. They also get to deduct the loss in value in the well each year which is basically depreciation.Re: Tuson electronic trailer sway control Mike134 wrote: Thanks for the review. I put the Hayes Sway control on my rig. 2200 miles and so far have not felt it, but I put it on as another another layer of sway control. Like you it's insurance for that one time you're holding a cup of coffee and you get a sway event. It is easier to notice times you should have sway , but don't (like a big rig passing), than it is to feel the brakes pulling.Re: Tuson electronic trailer sway control Mike134 wrote: Lynnmor wrote: Mike134 wrote: Thanks for the review. Like you it's insurance for that one time you're holding a cup of coffee and you get a sway event. The Hayes activates all the brakes, the Tuson chooses left or right as it decides. Jayco offered the Tuson sway control under the Lippert name about four years ago. They were all recalled due to incompatibility with some integrated brake controllers. I don't know if their issues have been resolved. You are correct, if the sway control activated it "backfeed" the braking voltage into the integrated controller so the truck thought there was a problem with the trailer wiring and disabled itself. Hayes has come up with an updated controller so there are no more conflicts with OEM brake controllers. There is a list of Makes and Models that are compatible with the Tuson system and most Automakers integrated Brake controllers have no problem with it. I have a Ford and there are no issues. I spoke with Tuson tech support, they are very helpful and even offered to update the system to the latest software (although that requires removal and sending back to factory.Re: Tuson electronic trailer sway controlFrom the drivers seat it was pretty transparent, I could not feel the brakes activating side to side. Spoke with tech support on the phone and new firmware will flash a dark green light when sway control is activated. I actually drove home from NJ and found that the pin had come lost and dropped one of my sway bars. I did not lose the bar, but it wasn't doing anything. JoeTuson electronic trailer sway controlHi Guys. For a long time I search for information on people's experience with Tuson electronic Anti-Sway and I could not find any, so I bought it and installed it myself. https://tusonrvbrakes.com/products/tuson-sway-control-tsc-1000 The Tuson Anti-sway is an electronic device that is wired into your left and right side brake wiring to activate only the brakes needed in a sway event. I have a 33ft Keystone Passport with a Reese Dual Cam anti-sway and weight distribution bars, but being such a long trailer, it can always use a little help. Install took me about 5 hours, but if I did it again it would probably take 2 or 3 (most of my issues were identifying Positive vs Neg brake connections on dual axles) Here is my impression. I took it on a trip from CT to Cape May New Jersey in high winds 20 - 30 MPH winds. Felt very stable at 57 MPH, still didn't love 60-65, so i held it at 57. I never really felt the trailer braking behind me, but this is the cool part, I never realized when tractor trailers were passing me. I never felt pulled into them, I never felt wobbly from there passing. I kinda didn't know it was working until I was in NY and saw a large fast moving trailer coming up on me, I braced for the pull and ...nothing. So that was pretty impressive. Truck and trailer moved much more together. General brake proportioning was a bit quicker and grabby-ier than before the install, so I had to lower the gain a bit from the prior settings. Overall, I was pretty impressed with it and was glad I installed it. - That's it, that's the post JoeRe: Expedition Tow Vehicle - Doing the Math - Will it work?I have a 2015 Expedition, with a 1654lb payload capacity. I am towing a Keystone Passport 3320BH (36'10" total length, 6590 shipping weight, 8000 Gross). Max towing capacity on an expedition in 9200lbs. I don't carry anything in the Expedition except passengers to keep under the payload. When I bought the camper (used) it had no anti-sway!, I towed it an hour home. It was a bit scary when the Tractor Trailers passed, but manageable. I think you will be Fine.Re: Travel Trailers with a rear bed slide... Leaks? Issues? colliehauler wrote: If I remember correctly a member had a KZ with a rear slide that he had to rebuild the back of the trailer due to a water leak. The other issue I've heard of is the slides can be hot or cold because of lack of insulation in slide. I would goggle water leak rear slide for whatever make and model your looking at. Don't have any personal experience with them. Maybe some owners will chime in with more information. Yeah... that was me. I've had the Camper for 5 years since with no further issues. When I set up, I set the back a hair lower than the front so the water runs off. Just Upgraded to a Keystone 3320BHS, Now I have 2 campers!Re: Washington, DCThese are great ideas, thanks. I may go to Cherry Hill or park near airport Unfortunately, we have to do the quick walk through as we only have the day.Washington, DCHey Guys, Been on the site for a while, but really haven't posted before. I am going on a Spring Break trip with the family to Williamsburg, Va and was thinking of stopping on the way home to see the Air & Space Museum in Washington DC. So here's my issue, where in DC can i park a Ford Expedition with a 30' trailer attached to it? Anyone has any ideas on this? I have to believe all parking is going to be tight (for a car). Thanks, joeRe: Champion 75531i 3100w Inverter/Generator Initial ReviewDoesn't it damage the generator to run High demand things, such as AC, with Eco mode ON? I have the Champion 3000i and the manual says NOT to use Eco mode with the AC on.
