Most tax collectors also offer same-day title printing for a fee of $10.Re: Buy Register A Car While Traveling? Edd505 wrote: wanderingaimlessly wrote: Are you using a service for your Texas mail? Can they handle DMV transactions for you? Dakota Post does for their clients, and I think Escapees does as well. Many states require a VIN inspection before registering an out of state vehicle. Stops stolen vehicle coming in and being "legitimized" by another state, they want to see the vehicle. States require a VIN check but allow it to be done in any state. Any local police dept. can do it though it is usually on certain days and times.Re: bedroom slide will not go outThere are two motors driving the Lippert slide out. One is not working. You can switch the connections on the controller located maybe on the basement ceiling. Lippert has some videos on this system that should help diagnose the problem. I googled "Lippert schwintek video" and got quite a few hits. Is it stuck with slide in or out? It could be the motor or wiring or the controller. Good luck.Re: flat bed or conventional pu Jram wrote: "I build 5er friendly hauler beds for my trucks and I'll never go back to a box. Craig" Can you post a picture or two. No way should you hang the weight of a HD of the back of a 5er. The frames are not designed for that much weight. Ken Some frames can carry the load but they are few. New Horizons has no problem carrying it with their 18" frames and my Mobile Suites with a 16" frame has had no problems with over 40K miles on it. Correction, DRV frames are 15". Two 2x6 and one 2x3 tubes stacked add up to 15". I tow a Kendon two bike trailer behind my DRV. I would never give up my rear window!!! Look carefully at the DRV stacked frame. They are NOT a full 15" frame through the entire length. The 2 x 3 section to give the total 15" height is only in the wheel attachment area. It also does not extend the 12" section all the way to the rear/ Ken This is inaccurate. You are referring to the riser that is added to raise the trailer to accommodate the higher tow vehicle. The frame itself is 15" for the full length of the lower frame.Re: Grease DutchmenSport wrote: I keep a can of just normal black grease in my truck all the time. Take a dab and put it on my hitch ball. When I unhitch, I use a paper towel and wipe off the hitch ball so it won't get all over everything it might tough. I don't think it rally matters what you use, as long as you use it and keep the hitch ball greased. Use what's most convenient for you. The OP is asking about fifth wheel hitches, not travel trailer ball hitches.Re: Fifth Wheels and Motorcycles TXiceman wrote: Toy hauler is your answer.
