When we drove our new gasser empty it did ride a little rough on rough roads. Once I learned how to drive it, loaded it and adjusted tire pressure it was fine. Noise is not an issue either other than the odd time we drive steep inclines. Normally the only thing we hear is wind noise but what would one expect with a billboard running down the road. ps: some day I might have a DP but so far in the 4 years of ownership we could not be happier and still have lots of $$$ which we did not tie up in a more depreciating asset.Re: 50 amp MH, plugged into 30 amp, ok to run 2 ac units??Wow 5 pages of posts to say no.Re: Class A Gassers and The General Quality of ProductsVery happy with our 3.5 year old Tiffin 36LA. Not one trip back to dealer as any parts that stopped working or were faulty were delivered to our door so I could repair. Just back from Tiffin factory for some body repairs which were all done to my satisfaction at no charge.Re: Canadian prices too high on used units? Cheaper to import? Some people love to state a lot of mis truths on this site. Having owned 4 rv's never once has my insurance broker(Different companies to boot)or for that matter my polices stated that insurance was dependent on CSA certification. To top it off one of my "CSA" certified trailers which I used to own had many non CSA cert parts on it's plumbing system. I wonder if this unrealistic poster ever camps in the US with all the so called dangerous rv's that are not CSA cert?? I sure hope not! ps JaxDad which dealer are you working for? Bet it's one that only sells for full MSRP and does not like any competition.Re: Who has the highest mileage Ford V10 motorhome?Rest assured it's a 1 off. PS know of a brand new DP which had Cummins engine blow up. Service center had to replace the whole engine.Re: Canadian prices too high on used units? Cheaper to import?I have yet to hear if anyone has ever been charged for having a non CSA stickered rv. lol I imported a non stickered rv to Canada legally and was never asked by any jusidiction whether or not it was stickered. Canadian dealers are the only ones ranting that it has to have one except when our dollar was higher and they were importing used non stickered rvs to resell. Same thing was happening with motor vehicles when dealers could make a bundle when exchange rates were more favorable.Re: Gas vs dieselsI get such a laugh out of this topic. DP's are the only way to go according to those that have them "but" then I read how some are noisier than others(so they are not that quiet as some would lead one to believe) I sure don't like standing beside one when it's standing still let alone be in one. Then I read that to get the good handling one must have a tag axle. Then one must have a side rad to be able to work on one easily. TEHO and I'm very happy with my late model gas coach and see no reason to spend $$$ to "upgrade". If money were no object I might consider a tag axle, side mount rad DP but I don't have unlimited budget.Re: I got a new CLASS-A - Pictures included!Gas or DP?Re: Top Two (2) Gas Class A's Newmar & Tiffin?Looked at both. Did not like Newmar interiors but that is subjective. Hard to even find a Newmar near us so we bought Tiffin. Still happy with our decision. Depending on model you choose be sure to compare usable storage and layout. Can't beat 36LA for floor space in bathroom when stepping out of shower or outside storage.
