Let the kids research and pick the destination. Maybe they saw something in the movies or tv and that could have sparked an interest.

One of my family members has a Lexus GX 470 4.7L v8, its a jazzed up 4Runner. 6,000 lbs tow capacity. It also takes premium fuel.

If you're concerned about the valve catching on anything, you can weld a cage around the valve. A lock is even possible to keep out the hillbillies.
