Pleasure Way - 2006 (EXCEL)..A few years ago, I removed the supplied table (front & back ) and the extra bed piece from the cabinet and behind the driver's seat. Purchased Cooper Tires in Visalia,Ca in November 2009. Replaced the original tires (Hankook) with Cooper Discovery The tires offered a better road handling and feeling of security on windy days. Pleasure-Way -2006 ..DW would like to travel with the bed down in the queen size position. The CO monitor would be very difficult to shut-off due to location on the van. Question: Can I remove this fuse for this item without causing other problems? We would purchase a monitor that can be mounted near the bathroom area. During our visit at Pleasure-Way a few years back, Phil mentioned that they discussed this matter with Ford - 65 psi front. Ford agreed that there was a handling problem when unit converted to Class "B" but due to possible law claims they would not change recommended tire pressure. On my 2006 Excel TD - tried 65psi but for some reason the front end was very bouncy - back to 55 and no problems. Also, the stock tires used by Ford are/were Hankcook - Phil was not happy with this brand as Pleasure-Way received many complaints of handling.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsMemories of Moab, Utah
. Five years ago today- the Class "B" Rally was held. On Saturday Night (October 4th) we gathered for a pot luck dinner and held a dog show contest. Our Dandie won first prize.;) Sunday - heavy rain storm in the afternoon. Drove to the Bar M Ranch (parking lot was red clay and a real joy to remove from the van)- and we witnessed a double rainbow. The food & show were both very enjoyable. The names I remember are few now. Julie & Chico - Abbey - David (who made the fire pit).I believe there were 3o or so "B" on hand.
