Thanks for all the guidance.Re: Can Generator loose its power?Thank you both, I will check Carb. As far as the altitude I did run AC in the past at this very campground. Thanks for the response. Can Generator loose its power?I have a Champion 3500-4000 Watt generator with a 30 amp plug that is about 4 years old. I have a 13.5 AC on my 2012 Keystone Springdale. I have run this AC before with this generator in the past. The last two times I tried to run the AC with the Generator it would kick on then start to sputter and sound horrendous. The generator has no problems running anything else in the trailer including coffee pot and Microwave and electric skillet. When I run the AC it was the only thing on. Same with microwave or coffee pot and skillet. Can the generator loose the electrical power it puts out? I was told by several that 3000 watts will run the AC. The AC ran fine at home on my 30 amp plug at my house both before and after this last trip.Re: CW generator - Champion 4000I have had the same generator for over three years. It has operated almost perfectly. I have ran the AC many times. I only use it when it is allowed to do what I need to do. It still starts in one pull. They are a great generator for the price. CacoonRe: NevedaIf you are going 300 miles per day you will be across Nevada quickly, it is only about 400 miles across. On I80 I could find and enjoy things in every town. My favorite is Elko Nevada. The STAR restaurant is Basque style food. There is also nearby Lamoille Canyon beautiful scenic drive.Re: ADCO CoversMy first one lasted 3 months, I bought warranty, after some wrangling they replaced with new, I was told I could buy another warranty for the new one. I told them the warranty I bought was for lifetime through camping world. NOT it was one item on the warranty that was one replacement only. Second one was destroyed in about 3 months. ADCO and both Camping World didn't seem to care. I'll do without.Re: Rain in the Desert.....Rain, God's grace blessing to the desert!Re: Costco Insurance lawnspecialties wrote: I'm going to assume the post about Costco being a liberal company is in response to their stance on raising the minimum wage. Costco has always paid their employees far better than the norm for "common" retail store positions. They know that if the minimum wage is raised to something like $15/hr., its going to put a LOT of their competition on the curb. I personally have always resented the concept of a retail store making me pay them up front money just for the privilege to shop in their store. That's just me. :) Being a liberal company has nothing to do with minimum wage. The guys in charge are clearly liberal in their beliefs and support a liberal agenda. As the decision makers, they have every right to run the company the way they see fit. My choice is to not support them. I think paying a higher minimum wage and offering benefits will always bring in a higher qualified workforce, and if I am looking for a job then I would definitely look for ones that paid more, but that should never be mandated by law. Research is how I came to learn it is a liberal company.Re: Costco Insurance"yeah I must be weird." No your not weird, Costco is a very liberal company and I am not. I have been a member in the past and will not ever be one again.Re: Current Conditions @ Bryce National ParkYou can call Nevada Highway Patrol for current updates on I-15. The number to NHP is 702-486-5090 their website NevadaNHP also has a mao if current road issues. Cacoon
