We towed our hybrid trailer, an 18 ft bantam flyer, for many years and many kms through the Rockies with our 2005 Sienna. Added airbags for stability and to remove sag. The sienna, as per the owners manual, had a 350lb tongue weight limit without a WDH and 525lbs with a WDH. I always used a WDH. The cargo capacity for the Sienna was also 1684lbs (for all passengers, cargo and tongue). We were within all specifications.423Views0likes0CommentsRe: DOA - Fixed
Check the switch for the brake lights. It may by damaged or misaligned. Even if your brake lights are working correctly, there may be a second switch for the cruise that is stuck or being triggered all the time making the cruise react like you are stepping on the brakes and always disengaging.906Views0likes0CommentsRe: Interesting comment from an online board
2009 F150 5.4 here. 103k miles. Tuned with a 87 octane tow/performance tune from 5star. The modular 5.4 got new heads at the end of 2007 that got rid of the two piece plug and the same 3valve engine was used until 2014 in the expedition. Look at the door sticker. It will give the exact PSI specified for the OEM tires. I had a rental 2015 f150 with LT tires. The door said 51psi. The tpms in the centre display showed 47psi on all 4 tires with no warnings. I've always had problems with the "quick connect" fittings used by most airbag installers. If the hose isn't cut perfectly straight or has been crimped a bit it will damage the o-ring on the quick connect. There are better 1/4" airline fittings that are meant for permanent installation that work much better. Hunt around on McMaster Carr for better choices or try a dealer that does work on air brake systems.208Views0likes0Comments
