Floor at the door is fixed. Got new tires going on tomorrow. Already got our sites booked for mothers day weekend and memorial weekend. Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionFinally finished the ceiling, well 95% complete, just need to fill some cracks where i lack in the carpenter genes. Finished getting it fully cleaned out and clean. My wife is almost done with the cushion covers.Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionThis is how the roof looked before. Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionFinally got the roof sealed and coated. We used alumaseal, not sure how people like it but it sounded like it'd work. It ain't pretty but its a huge improvement. I tried to keep the brush strokes long on the front and back but on top pretty much just caked it on over the old peeling sealant, and i did scrape off anything loose i could. Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionThank yall, and good tip on checking the bearings. We will be getting new tires, i think walmart had wheel and tire packages pretty cheap.Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionHere's the ceiling so far, yesterday i caulked up some spots on the roof where it was patched and their sealant had came off. Supposed to be nice all weekend so hoping to get the roof fully re-sealed with some alumaseal. Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionThanks, i havent found the breaker panel yet but i haven't dug too deep for it. I forgot the breakaway brake needs its own 12v source.Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionAlso are these things super rare? According to the vin it is an '81 but i cannot find a 16' holiday rambler aluma lite after many times searching online.Re: Holiday Rambler IntroductionThe wires hanging there weren't attached to anything so i'll be adding a light fixture there. Those wires and one other light in the ceiling along with the outlets are 120v though all the bunk lights and counter lights run off 12v. I'm trying to decide whether to change em all out to 120v and run some wires or add a battery on the tongue and mount a battery charger inside to keep the battery full when connected to 120.
