After drilling a hole there is something in the way. My question is: Where would i find and exploded view of the landing leg? I don't know the manufacturer. RonRe: Hot water tankI found my hot water tank had a bad anode. When i removed it and looked inside I found a lot of calcium. I used VINEGAR which dissolved it then I flushed with clean water until the smell was gone.Vinegar doesn't hurt anything. You might have to repeat as required. We use the same in our coffee pot. RonRe: What mileage could I expect? '05 Dmax, 14,000 GVWR FWWOW! 10 MPG? I must have a very special truck. DW and I were so impressed with its ability to do ALL that the advertising claimed that we named her GLORIA because she is glorious. Other than tires we have not had any trouble with her. She now has 132,000+ miles. I finally changed the brakes at 118,000 miles, and serviced the cooling system at the same time. We have taken several long trips (8,000+ miles) and numerous short trips and always averaged 11.9 to 12.2 mpg. 62 to 63 mph is our sweet spot. Without trailer 18 to 21 mpg (Depending on A/C running). 2007.5 chevy 2500hd 6.6 dmax (LMM engine) crew cab with tow package. changed the fuel tank to 52 gal. 2008 Montego Bay by KZ. 37 feet long 13'6" tall and 14,100 lbs ready for camping. Combined weight (truck and trailer) 21,400 lbs (scaled). IMHO I feel once you find your sweet spot your mileage should improve. RonRe: lost an entire wheel and drumHey gang, The OP's situation scared me. After thinking about the conversation, its been 10 years on my bearing. So I have a few questions. What do you use to clean the old grease from the bearing? Do you use brake clean or some other liquid. I don't have a parts washer. What grease do you recommend. So I lowered my sights to a cartridge system. My question is "How long will the filter cartridge last with normal use?" A week?, A month? or a year?. Thanks for all the replies. Even with pictures... Just Great. Thanks. I ordered a unit from Amazon that I can set on the ground and hook up 'garden' hoses....Easy-peezy. Again THANKS RonRe: Refrigerator problems Old-Biscuit wrote: How long is a piece of rope? I know the answer to this....Twice the distance from the center to one end.
