In my RV the water lines are trapped in assembly running under floors and other objects. It would be very difficult to repair a fractured line. It is so much easier just to antifreeze it correctly. All slides are an engineering decision. If you have a slide on one side, you automatically have hardware room on the other side for slide(s). The balance of the RV is better also. Think of a small toy hauler. They have no room for slides because of the cargo requirements. For me solar takes the travel out of travel trailer. I don't want some flimsy solar panel screwed through my rubber roof. I also don't want to clean around them. The thought of hauling 600 - 1000 lbs. of battery is not pleasant. Again I am not against permanent solar installations in locations without Edison. Mm49333Views0likes0Comments
