It would be very difficult to repair a fractured line. It is so much easier just to antifreeze it correctly. There are many much smarter people that would tell you that antifreeze is not necessary. MM49Re: Curbside slideout... design trend? All slides are an engineering decision. If you have a slide on one side, you automatically have hardware room on the other side for slide(s). The balance of the RV is better also. Think of a small toy hauler. They have no room for slides because of the cargo requirements. I'm waiting for the entire kitchen and cabinets on a SSlide. mm49Re: Winterized w/compressed airAir Pressure doesn't work. Water will remain trapped in segments of the lines. you must use antifreeze after the air blow out. That's quite a link you posted there MM! :E You're up Fish. :W I truly hope the OP's problem is a small service item. Reading the post from the Arborist that fell out of a 55' tree and then the next day his truck blows up really gets me. I wonder how many small businesses were bankrupted by these defective vehicles. No big deal the 6.7 cummins guys are very familiar with the CEL's all the time even with less than 5k miles. That's a sad state of affairs. All of the trucks have their good and bad, but it quickly gets old when people cherry pick topics to push their own agendas. They use many tactics and the one germane to this comment is the ad hominem attack. Simply slander, marginalize or be generally dismissive of the provider of the information so that the information itself is dismissed. Another tactic is to wave off the information as marketing or other nefarious plot then provide their talking points as the real facts. Not targeting anybody in particular, just thought it was important to point out. You one, to recommend a tire in classification that doesn't exist! MM49Re: Solar or GennyFor me solar takes the travel out of travel trailer. I don't want some flimsy solar panel screwed through my rubber roof. I also don't want to clean around them. The thought of hauling 600 - 1000 lbs. of battery is not pleasant. Again I am not against permanent solar installations in locations without Edison.
