The rescues I am with see it also....so many good doggies need a good home, Can save only so many doggies. Need many more fosters and less back yard breeders and puppy farms.Re: Temperature Sensor for Motor Homex2Re: Happy Father's Day...So cute! Looks like our Peepers>Re: Pup-Peroni treats...I lost my collie, don't know if thy lovely neighbor did this or her love for chicken jerky. Doggies get cheddar cheese for their treat now and they love it.Re: Wal Mart etc. stops for groceriesOur doggies were the main reason we got our motorhome. We were tired of our doggies being put into a garage. Our main doggies have passed since but we have another collection of doggies that have a home away from home, never to be in a garage. 2nd reason was restaurants and what they call food. We travel with our pack and cook the food we eat....much better than what we had while traveling in conversion van.Re: BenBen has gone to the bridgeSo sorry to hear of your loss of BenBen. Such a beautiful doggie. Remember him the day he accepted you for his people...he knew you were good parents.Re: Wal Mart etc. stops for groceriesDitto!!!!Re: Wal Mart etc. stops for groceriesIf you love your lap doggie Bo, running the roof ac with generator is just pennies for your doggie to stay cool and continue to enjoy his venture to camping with his people. My generator is always on during the warm months when doggies are with us. I lost a doggie to heat stroke in our stick house fiftenn years ago....never want that to happen again.Re: Dog to dog aggression while campingI am sorry...but I, a responsible pet owner makes sure my doggies are on my site and make sure they are not a nuisance or threat to others. I also do my best to protect them from threatening dogs. I camp with doggies from 4 lbs 5 oz, to 75 lbs. If I am at a campground where there are any loose doggies I report immediately. If my tiny one gets hurt by another persons irresponsibility leaving their dogs loose....I can not guarentee their doggie will return to their site unharmed by me. I hate ignorant people that don't take control and keep their doggies on their own site!!!Re: fyi pets and deerSo sorry for you loss....scared at all times with my little chis getting injured by wildlife. We have a herd of deer anywhere from 4 to 9 deer that run most of property, 4 acres, with fawns frolicking around, the deer respect the doggy pen area. I have 6 chis, a collie and a foster min pin. I check every morning and evening, mainly for the 3 black bear that are around here, within 5 foot of house (wildlife path up our driveway). I have to make sure fencing is still up before letting them out at all times. Our chis, under 10 lbs are wee wee pad trained and are allowed out only when one of us can sit and watch to make sure deer, bear, owls, cougar or eagles swooping down on them. Came to close one time with the bear, neighbor yelled bear so I was on alert and checked my driveway to see it walking directly towards my doggies, had to scare it off. Glad this bear is skiddish so far.
