1997 Dodge 2500 HD with Cummins Diesel (automatic): Loaded to go camping with myself, wife, hitch,gear and full fuel: Steer Axle 3780 Drive Axle 2620 Gross Weight 6400 GVWR* 8800 TV and Cougar 293 SAB Loaded: (No water in tanks) Steer Axle 4080 (GAWR 4500) Drive Axle 4440 (GAWR 6000) Trailer Axle 7920 Gross Weight 16440 Gives Loaded 5er weight of 10040. True Hitch Weight Loaded: 1820 (within limits) Axle weights within limits TV and 5er GCWR 440 over--gonna have to lose some gear and maybe make wife walk (just kidding). Interesting 5er weight because empty weight is listed just shy of 9000# by manufacturer and I can almost guarantee I haven't added 1040 lbs. of gear.481Views0likes0Comments
