Right now I am trying to locate, and change the air filter on this Cat engine. I have the bed all torn up trying to get to it.Re: I'm Questioning Power/Torque of Gas vs DieselThey are reassembled because of importing rules as a whole unit. Desiel will always pull better with less stress than a gasser. Do you want a race car, or a RV? My Chevy Diesel will give a gasser a run for its money if you want to get down on the pedal. Most don't buy diesel because of extra cost. But tradein value remains higher than a gasser, and will run many more miles than a gasser. Same work, less stress on the engine. Allison tranny is a proven tranny. Used in military tanks. If it has spark plugs it isn't a real truck. :) If you drive a diesel, you will never want a gasser again. LeeRe: Class B Motorhome Vibration While DrivingThe motorhome will be going to a Ford dealer for a comprehensive inspection (at my expense), so if there is a problem with the drive train hopefully it will be uncovered during that inspection. The seller is responsible for paying for any repairs. An inspection of this type with a mechcanic actually driving it might cost a few bucks, but nothing like what it could cost after the purchase. I would run, and fast. I would suspect the drive train, not tires.Re: 2005 Coachmen Cross Country Screen door krivanj wrote: magnetic latch from Home Depot I agree. Thats the way I would go. Those handles are almost worthless, and a weak point in most all campers. When I get finished making one up I will post photos. Plans are to remove the slider completely. Replace with clear plastic And maybe a drawer pull for a handle on each sideRe: To cover or not to cover.... that is the question remoandiris wrote: No cover. With the fiver hitch, the front end is right over the top of the hitch. With the GN. it is more like a lever, it connects over the hitch, but is farther forwards. Like it would have more lever action to rip it out from under the fiver. Personally, I wouldn't do it. He hasn't had any problems with it as yet. Lee
