Replaced the Windshield motor a couple of years ago. Since then I had the problem of wipers not turning off. Now however the wipers only work on High and the sprayer works but does not turn on the wipers. Have to time it right to turn the wipers off when they are not in the middle of windshield. I tried a new motor, and that is not the problem. I traced the wires all the way back to the motor and the only plug in the line is fine. The ground is clean and looks good. Any suggestions, I know others have had this problem, my bother in law has the exact same issue on his 04 Southwind. Would love to hear what has been done to correct this issue. Isn't this the problem where the wiper connection inside the fuse(?) box had corrosion on it, it was posted awhile back. May be slightly different in that I have had them, like the original poster, where they just won't shut off. Should have said connection box not fuse box, where the wires from the wiper connected.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows PaceArow wrote: WIND SHIELD WIPERS Problem I have an 05 Pace on a W24. Any advice? I am going to throw a 60" tarp over it for now until I can find a better solution. I am parking the coach under some Oak Trees and don't want to stain the new roof just yet. Yes its 50' feet long, made of aluminum with a locking door :) I would do the same if I were you, mine is in storage and the others I know go 'au natural'...Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows seatec wrote: i used to rap the monitor but after a while that didnt do it anymore. Mine did/does that, I bought a new monitor and it still does it. I asked them to run a new ground...which I come to find out they didn't. Thats the next thing I am going to try.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Deputy Chief P.O. wrote: We have a 2003 Pace Arrow 36B Chevy and it does not appear to have a spare tire (just purchased the rig last June). We have AAA, Good Sams and Coachnet roadside service, (I know, overkill, but had an incident a couple of years ago where AAA did not respond to change a tire on our other rig and Good Sam came to our rescue). If we had a flat, would our road side service be able to provide us with a tire? Where do others with our same rig store their spare? I know this seems like a stupid question, but my husband and I are technical tards. I think storage (where to put it) and the size/weight make it more than most people can/want to handle. I seem to recall that there were a few that figured out a place to store one, but most will rely on a road side assistance/tire shop to come out and replace.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Fyr guy wrote: Here's the pics from my recent project to replace the faded and cracking vinyl graphics and lettering on my coach. I uploaded them ass backwards so the begining is at the end. Remember, I went with the original design and colors so nothing new there. Trust me when I say that the vinyl looked like******6 years later and now the rig looks like new again. The pics of the front end cap don't come out as good as it looks as the sun was not out high enough to see well. It sparkles like glass. No more streaks on the windshield and hopefully easier to clean the bugs off. Enjoy! Graphics link Turned out great! If I was going to keep ours I'd do this too ! Enjoy.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Fyr guy wrote: bricot, thats why we're taking this plunge. We will run the wheels off this rig so we want to keep it looking as nice as possible. We have maintained it pretty darn good but exterior graphics are totally out of our control. This paint job should go a long way towards that goal. Make sure you post, or send me pics. Love to see what you pick and how it turns out.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows Fyr guy wrote: After many months of deliberating, I've decided to do something about the deteriorating exterior graphics of our rig. We live in the high desert of SoCal and the driver and passenger side graphics (tape) has faded and cracked pretty bad and as this will be our last rig, we have decided to have all the lettering, stripes, rear logo and front end cap painted to match existing graphics. We've always liked the design and we decided to stick with it. I priced replacing the existing tape, same color and they wanted a little over 2k but would still have the same problem 5-7 years down the road. The removal, painting, clearcoat at a top notch company (Final Touch Coach Works) here in Valencia will be double that but will give us that showroom finish we want with out the fading and cracking down the road with a little elbow grease it should hold up for many years to come. I don't want to hear that you can have your entire coach done for the same price but after visiting the shop and talking with the owner, this is where we'll get our job done at. You get what you pay for! Pictures to follow in 2 weeks. Fyr Nice, I've looked at that too. Glad I didn't at this point, I can't believe what a beating these have taken (value wise) in the last couple years. Valencia huh.... hmmmm... what could I do while waiting for it to get painted.....SIX FLAGS!!!Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows dkingdoe wrote: Cathy Johansen wrote: Spa by Oxygenics -- we purchased one about a year ago. Fittings???Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsDoes blowing out your lines via the city water connection clear your pump? Guessing probably not...
