I shopped around and found it for 1100.00 I call an RV shop that sells those and they told me that a $600 adapter kit had to be purchased also for that hitch to work in the new ford. Mine was around 1100-1200 complete, including shipping. Can't remember where I found it. Looks like E-Trailer sells them for 1210.00 shipped.Re: B&W slider in a new fordI have a 2015 short bed F350 with the hitch prep and went with the Demco Hijacker Auto Slide. There must be an aggressive dealer somewhere in the western half of the counrty?Re: New Toy HaulerFound a Carbon 327 to look at this week, now if I could find a Torque 321 somewhere close I'd be in business. Anybody have a good dealer in Northern Ca. or reasonably close to they would recommend? I don't mind traveling a few hundred miles either for the right package.Re: New Toy HaulerI have been looking at units and really like the XLR ThunderBolt 340X12. Pricing is in the ballpark, just wondering about how well these are made and how Forest River is for support. I have also looked at the Grand Designs 348M which is nice , but a lot more money. Are they really 20k better? I don't want problems and will spend more if needed. ThanksRe: Factory fifthwheel prep or notI ordered the factory prep and got the Demco Hijacker 18k auto slide for 1100.00 I bought the goose neck kit off Ebay for 50.00Re: Desert Fox 5th wheels....in the flesh.According to Desert Fox they are prototypes with no time line for regular production. At least that's what I was told by them a few weeks ago.Re: New superduty - 18" or 20" wheelsOrdered my 2015 F350 with the 18s and they are rated at 3640 payload per tire. Not sure on the payload of the 20s. I wanted more tire for a better ride than the 20s.Re: New Toy HaulerThanks for the tip, I'll check them too.
