I hear that these two years were probably the best made by this company. Can anyone confirm fit and finish, quality of materials, longevity of the systems (aquahot) especially. Since this model was the top of the line did they come with heated floors, better slide mechanisms, lighting controls etc. I am very interested in a 99 GS "Constellation" model. It will need some tires, full oil service etc. I believe it is a one or two owner unit. I can pick it up for something in the 50s range. I expect to be able to get all documentation from the current owner. My main concern is that it only get used a few times a year for a month or so. I would like to hear from those that have actual experience for this particular model. TIA rundlcRe: 2001 Islander NEED wiring diagrams PLEASEThat's not true, most rv do have wiring, I had a 93 HR navigator and it had power, electrical and switching diagrams for the rv. I know for a fact that they are available, just need to find a owner that actually has them. So I am hunting.2001 Islander NEED wiring diagrams PLEASEDoes anyone have any wiring diagrams of the bedroom area and rear clearance lights #1 I was trying to diagnose why my clearance lights were non op, I was told to check in the cabinet above the bed. I opened it up and saw that there were a bunch of wires that looked like small silver cables, the factory left a piece of cut sheet metal exposed and apparently this caused some type of small sparks, when that happened I lost all the bedroom lights and radio power. I cannot seem to locate a fuse in either bay (one in front under driver and pass side near batteries) Anyone know where the fuse might be?? #2 I found the 20 amp fuse that powers the running lights in the bay under the driver, this fuse is "popping" Now it is interesting to me that once I found a loose ground mounting point right on the frame in front of the motor, that it was loose, I tried to move it so that it would get a good connection and pow now the #20 keeps popping. Any suggestions on this one? Could this be tied to the wiring in the bedroom cabinet? Could someone please post a pdf of the house wiring for the bedroom and the rear clearance lights? Much appreciated. RUNDLCRe: Looking for a HONEST RV mechanic shop in SacramentoThanks all, Ill try the lodi rv place. I am a school bus driver part time, I am asking the person that trained me to train my DW cause I believe it will be easier on me! I would use a lot of common sense be safe above all. Go on google or your search engine and type in RV driving Lessons, you should get some hits and hopefully someone will be in your area. My trainer was going to charge around 225.00 for an eight hour course in our rv. Happy TrailsRe: Bilstein vs Monroe shocks for F-53 chassisI had a 96 H.R. endeavor f53 chassis, I had the front springs redone, put new monroes on the front and the firestone bags in the rear and it changed the ride dramatically! It was something about putting a little more weight on the front that did the trick for me. Now it wasnt a DP ride but a heck of a lot better.Re: keep coming back to American Tradition...actually -Heritage!@KampingKris, If you buy that rig you are going to CRUSH my dw, she saw it last weekend and fell head over heels for it!! I was not to happy with the owner, I have a commercial class B lic and asked about test driving it, he told me I would have to sign a offer sheet to purchase it and then could drive it. I did not like that at all, I have spoke DeMartini about test drives and they told me just to come on down. I like that rig a lot but I think there are things that he is not telling us, I am surprised about the leaking though. I was thinking of going back this weekend but now may hold off a bit, I saw a really nice 01 heritage that was loaded go for 70k last month. We are in the same area maybe we can see what this guys story really is.Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Here's the link I used for the macerator, http://steampunkworkshop.com/diy-rv-macerator-pump
