We also use them on the awning arms as head buffers & on the slide out edges when we have the G-kids with us.Re: What cars will tow behind a class c motorhome? At first we towed a Camry on a dolly, but that was a royal PITA, especially if you got caught in a parking lot with no exit. Now we flat tow a 5 speed 2003 Subaru Outback which hooks up in seconds & can go darn near anywhere off road :-o))Re: 2002 ShastaThe tank is fixed in the chassis so you have to pull up close to the filling station. Some places are not equipped with a hose long enough to reach. Best to check first. ChrisRe: Ride Rite Air Bags on 2011 Coachmen or similar yearOur 2002 25' Shasta Sprite had the helper air spring on the back which the previous owner "never bothered with". One side had a slow leak & I found a leak @ the filler valve. It was not hard to replace the plastic lines because they simply press together. You just have to find the right store that carries those type of things. Here in MD I found them @ http://www.colliflower.com/frederick As far as protecting them I'm not sure other than re-routing them to another location. ChrisRe: Sun coming in skylightsI sprayed that black rubberized sealant on the outside of the vent over my bunk. Works great! Plenty of light comes in elsewhere in the unit.Re: RV's too old to park in their campground???We were on the road & needed a spot for the night near Bend, OR. Found Crown Villa RV Resort with our"RVParky" app & gave them a call. The FIRST THING out of her mouth was "What year is your RV?". We have NEVER encountered that question at ANY other CG whether private or Park. We have a 2010 Fleetwood Jamboree so I guess we passed their minimum, then found they wanted $77/night. Forget that! Needless to say my review was less than glowing as was another stating they were NOT allowed in. Drove another 15 or so miles north to Deschutes County Fair Grounds RV Park in Redmond, OR & stayed for $29 with FULL hook up.Re: V10 gas mileageJust got back form a 7,285 mile x-counrty trip in our 2010 Fleetwood Jamboree 28Y on an E450 chassis with the V-10 flat towing a manual shift 2003 Subaru Outback. In the mountains it was as low as 6-7mpg & the best on flat ground with a tailwind 9mpg. My wife has a heavy foot, but it seems to get its best mileage if you keep it 65 or under. Tough to do when the speed limit's 80. Just be happy gas isn't $4/gallon like it was 2 years ago ;-o)Re: C Class TOAD vehicle? We have an E450 & tow a manual shift 2003 Subaru Outback. It doesn't weigh a lot & lets us go off roading to boot.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Stuck an authentic Ford "Hybrid" name plate below the E450 plate on the front fenders for fun. Now I can park next to the Prius'................or on top of them :-o) I've got a cord that plugs in too. Should get a double take or two on the road & @ the campgrounds.Re: C Class TOAD vehicle? We drag a 2003 manual shift Subaru Outback behind our 2010 Jamboree sport. That way we can do some off-roading. You'd be surprised where we've taken that thing.
