He said he noticed quite a drop in quality over the past ten years or so. My experience is Grand Design may be a step above some of the other manufacturers. My personal experience is they provide outstanding customer service.Re: Should We Get A New Hitch?!Reese Revolution You could look at the Turning Point pin box or the Reese Revolution.Re: Should We Get A New Hitch?!I feel your pain. A couple of years ago the same thing happened to me. I wasn't paying attention and turned too sharp and lost a rear window. I still have a non sliding hitch. I've towed thousands of miles without an issue. I don't think it will happen again because I'm much more aware of my turns now. I want a hitch that isn't too heavy because I need to remove it quite often. If there is any for aft adjustment in your hitch I would move it to the most rearward position.Re: Boston - Cape Cod area DavidandDayle wrote: gramps even if they bill you, the US turnpikes are more reasonable than the 407. I agree. I've never paid as high a toll as I have on the 407.Re: Anyone replaced their Schwintek slide with a pulley system?I'm not a fan of the Schwintek slide. I've spoken to RV techs that just hate working on them. A poor design in my opinion. Manufacturers use them to save weight and cost.Re: Boston - Cape Cod areaThanks Mike. I plan to visit Mystic seaport. I’ll check out the Nautilus submarine. Appreciate the tips. BobRe: Boston - Cape Cod areaLooks like Gillette Castle is closed when we're there but the grounds are open. I'll add your suggestions to our list. Thanks very much.Re: Boston - Cape Cod area DavidandDayle wrote: Gramps: We drove in along the Mass Pike. They're supposed to have photo toll collection (like the 407) but we still haven't been billed. We found the parking payment/fare payment machines at the subway stations erratic. Thanks for the information. I took the 407 last year from the 400 to the QEW. It cost me over $100.00 one way. I hate tolls. I know they’re unavoidable going to Boston. With my luck I’ll get billed.Re: Boston - Cape Cod areaIf the commuter station is 2 miles from the KOA I may just take a cab. Then I won’t have to worry about parking. I have a fairly large vehicle. Thanks for your replies. Bob
