I have '17 Laredo & looking at new trucks, currently have '13 350drw. I'm certainly not going through flipping axles & etc. but that bed height change certainly has me concerned. thanksRe: Campgrounds with River AccessX2 for Buttonwood on the Juniata in PA!!! outstanding campground. Harpers Ferry KOA is dang close & very nice tooRe: Undercover Bossjust like many/most things there are good and bad ones from what I've experienced. Sandusky OH TERRIBLE muddy, sites on top of each other (my slide outs about touched next guys awning!)and expensive, while Bellefonte PA & Watkins Glenn NY were both extremely nice. Both of these gave me plenty of room, and at 43' without truck it does help :-)Re: Campgrounds near Washington DCCheck out Lake Fairfax County Park, I really enjoy them, the lazy river pool, close to metro and nice 50 amp sites..Re: 5th wheel shoppingPersonal is the main key, others say no to bunks but I won't do without them (again personal) my newest so far is outstanding for the $$$ bath & 1/2 (so kids have their own), looking right at TV, strong axles, and actually gets better mileage than my '09 40' Sandpiper (this one is 42') but really $$$'s and personal layout sell the camper, I love the windows and my son has his own room and can be in there all day comfortable (rain days) and not "underfoot". just another opinion and one to considerRe: Lancaster PA areaMillstream is great but sites are unique, not a lot to do "at campground" but very central location, baked goods from amish wagons Saturday morning is well worth trip though!!Re: Thoughts on the new "Party Sofa"My fiver had one by design and during build had it removed for standard couch and freestanding dinette, the two tables have a downfall as well because the post cannot be placed deep enough to really get them stable so they are always wobbly. I love my new Sierra (which originally had that sofa in picture) after re-design but i'm sure there are those that might like the party sofaRe: campground near Washington DC?a little cheaper no full hookups but 50 amp & water Lake Fairfax County Park, loved it big sites within 2 miles of Metro rail that takes you right downtown! & good parking at metro.
