I don't charge it for 8 hours as the car battery will do it for me when plugged-in and operating. I need to change the sensitivity and have never changed the force mode since setting it years ago. I suggest you call the good folks at Blue Ox as they can help you better than I.Re: 2015 Jeep Wrangler UnlimitedI have a 2015 GC Limited 4x4 with QuadTrac II. Follow the recreational towing procedure in the manual and all is good. The last step is to press the Start button to turn off the ignition as will as automatically put the tranny in park.Re: Mystery Box under E-450?I have a 2013 E-450 using Thor Chateau. The box is for the emission system. It captures the tank vapors.Re: Where are front seams on a cabover Class C? How to inspect?I am not aware of any diagrams or images. The best way to check is to go up on the roof of the coach and look at all the seams carefully. While you are up there check all the openings such as the vents, sewer vent, skylight and TV antenna. If you see screw heads or bolt heads protruding through the sealant then the dealer should address those issues. The folks building Thor Class C's are entry level factory assemblers from the looks of my coach. With regards to Thor it is a "Buyer Beware" company and requires your Quality Control Check before taking delivery. Point out all problems and let the dealer fix them before you give them your money.Re: Where are front seams on a cabover Class C? How to inspect? If you look at where the Ford/Chevy cab ends and the fiberglass coach body begins this is the seam area. In my case, a Thor Chateau 31A bunkhouse, the rubber roof meets up to the fiberglass cap. There is lap sealant covering the trim. The edges have a plastic molding running down the fiberglass cap. Here's what to check. 1. The lap sealant has no holes or bubbles and extends beyond the seam in the front and back of the trim. 2. The running lights have silicone sealant around them. (Mine had gaps and holes in the sealant and the running light lens cover gasket was no existent). I fixed them and checked them by washing them and observing that no moisture formed on the inside of the lens. 3. A good bead of silicone sealant is around the top and side window frame of the overhead window. 4. A good bead of silicone sealant round the trim of the fiberglass front cap. I live in AZ so the sun does more damage than water. But it does rain occasionally. So proper maintenance and inspection will always be required.Re: Transmission clunkMine is a 2013 E-450 or 2014 Thor Chateau and it does it as well. When the park pawl goes into place in the transmission it sends the vibration down the drive shaft. That is normal on long drive shafts.Re: 27 to 29 foot class c with two slides? We traded our 42' Cyclone for a 2014 Thor 31' bunkhouse. They have a 31L model that might meet your needs. We are loving the smaller coach and are not limited on where we can park. I pull an Aluma trailer with the Rhino/Quads. We also will pull a CRV when not playing in the mountains/deserts.Re: radio helpI have a Pioneer in my 2014 Thor Chateau. To get the radio out of DEMO mode you press and hold the mute button. To turn the screen off you press the menu button then press the screen where the OFF icon is displayed. Every time you disconnect the coach batteries and reconnect them, you need to go through this procedure. Also, as mentioned above, go to YOUTUBE or Pioneer's website.Re: house batteryI too have a 2014 thor chateau and even with the battery disconnect in the storage position, there is a slight draw on the battery. I measured at .075 amp. The radio also draws from the chassis battery as well as the house battery to keep its settings. If you can't keep it plugged in to shore power or use a battery tender then I would recommend disconnecting the negative on the house battery and coach battery. If you look under the bed you will see there is a power takeoff with a fuse before the disconnect relay. I added a second battery and switches for the radio/video circuit and USB power station to reduce the load when dry camping.
