Like Jehovah had taken a big powdered sugar duster and heavily dusted every ledge with the white stuff. And the pucker bushes looked like they were made of crystalline rock sugar candy. In the sunlight everything glistened and the contrast of the pure white against the reds and yellows of the rocks was so awesome. The air was full of small glistening flecks that caught the light and reminded me of being in a giant snow globe. If you can tell by my wonder, we folks in So.Cal. land don't get this type of show, so to me it was wonderful and a much to be enjoyed treat. We go this way quite often and I look forward to it every time but it is usually hot and in the summer. Heading East the next stop is the much cheaper fuel in St. George, Utah. :) From our house to St. George is just under a tank with the TC in the bed. We usually over night in Mesquite NV at one of the casino RV parks just before the Arizona border. Full hookups and about $15/ a night. Maybe 51/2 hrs from home. It lets us drive at night and then get an early start the next day into Utah or headed farther north into Wyoming or Montana. Man, I am there in my mind already. I have got to get out of here soon or I will go crazy. Thanks for the pics Sleepy, I have been traveling with you folks and having a great time in my mind. :)Re: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper Here Here is one from the Grand Tetons:)Re: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper Here Heres a couple of pics of the TC at Sparks Lake in Oregon.
