I did forget my washer lines though until I read through here!! I will be doing that ASAP, so thank you for that!! Disconnect the battery, and pull it out, put it inside on a charger if possible. I also blow compressed air through my black tank flushes.Re: Voltage changesHave you looked at the Grand Design Momentum line? They are adding 2 more floor plans soon too. I love mine, and my other choices were the same as yours.Re: Waxing the TH Bedlam wrote: Only if the waxing is happening inside. :D LOL!!!Re: Our New 385TH Fits Both Golf Carts!! YAY!Our first trip was this weekend, I loved it!! So much space and storage was awesome, so everything had its place and was easy to find. I did stop and weigh it on the way home: full of fuel, 2 dogs and the wife, 1/4 tank fuel in fuel station, just got back from camping so it was still loaded (besides a little light on food) and the 2 golf carts in the garage. Front axle:4280, rear axle: 7540, trailer axles: 15740, total: 27560. You sure know it is back there!! I think an automatic is in my future.Re: Our New 385TH Fits Both Golf Carts!! YAY!Now if I could just figure a way to take this too.... Re: Tahoe Tow Vehicle, Trailer RecommendationsAPT, the Yukon towed my trailer great after I bought the Pro-Pride. Not one single problem, but I needed that hitch to tow safely. My point is mute now since I have a 5'er now. I also set the hitch up with the air suspension shut off so it was not in the equation. The hitch set-up was changed a few times to try to solve the problem to no avail. So a Pro-Pride was purchased.Re: Goodyear pulled a fast one on me. Load rating rant.Load range C or D tires are for 1/2 ton and smaller trucks. I only install E ties on 3/4 ton and larger, that is what they are specd for and that is what they take, period.Re: Tahoe Tow Vehicle, Trailer Recommendationsturty, the trailer was all over the place, I needed to have both hands clamped on the steering wheel, but also needed one on the brake controller to control the sway, I had an Equal-i-zer set-up that I had changed around some trying to dial it in. I eventually bought the Pro-Pride hitch and it made the journey better, but after only 3 trips with the Equal-i-zer and 4-5 with the Pro-Pride, I bought a bigger truck, used the Pro-Pride until I bought a new trailer then went back to the Equal-I-zer. Now as I was trying to control that trailer, my wife was holding onto the oh-s**t bar with both hands yelling "We're gonna die!!!" Like I stated I have a 2011 Yukon XL Denali, and I was towing a 2011 Evergreen Ever-lite 33qb. Dry was 5730 and load cap of 1363. Tow cap is 7800. So even at 100% load the trailer should have left 800lbs to the truck, which we don't carry gear in the truck, just us 3 and the dog, so that probably put us at the max. The suspension of the SUV's is just so soft, people with pick-ups seem to not notice being overweight as much with the leaf spring rear vs the coil spring of the SUV's.Our New 385TH Fits Both Golf Carts!! YAY!My wife and I were going to buy a 5er last year and we didn't, we decided to wait a year and make sure it was what we needed. When Grand Design came out with the Momentum line-up, we were curious, as the Fuzion and Voltage was on our short list and we had already worked numbers on a couple different units over the winter, but the Momentums were too far away for us to travel to, then a local dealer started carrying them, we went over there and checked them out. When we stepped into the 385TH, we knew it was the 'one'. We bought it that day, but couldn't take it home since the snow was still 2 feet deep where I keep the campers at, plus I had a stipulation where 2 golf carts needed to fit in the garage, they fit 2 Yamaha's in there. So we brought it home. I then tried putting my 2 EZ-Go's in the garage. Well those Yamaha's must be really small!! But they fit. We go camping this next weekend for the first time in her, can't hardly wait. Re: Tahoe Tow Vehicle, Trailer RecommendationsDefiantly stay below 6,000 pounds MAX!! The lower the better. Trust me on this I went over this on my 2011 Yukon XL Denali and it was bad, so bad that after 2 camping trips I had a bigger truck to tow it with.
