Stuff I forgot to add. I have a vehicle tester for the 7way and all checks out there. I know the brakes are bad, I already ordered new ones.

Brake controller showing trailer disconnected.
So pulling my TT back from a long weekend get away I noticed my Reese brakeman 4 was showing trailer disconnected. All lights worked, I was able to stop fine, truck has oversized brakes. I know I should have a good ground, because all lights worked Recently I removed the battery, maybe 1 cable. Outdoor be loose? Brakes got very hot last time I pulled it, because I over adjusted them. Could I have melted a wire?

I have a huge external trans cooler 11x11 Trans temp gauge as well. We're now looking at a gray wolf 27dbs. We will never fill the water tank as we go to a full hook up camp ground. Oh. Also have 3.73 gears
