But we have put about 6000 miles on ours this year already and have had no big issues at all. There has been some topics on overloading of axles but I must have gotten lucky or they have it worked out on the 2014 models.Re: Opinions of Double Bed over Double Bed bunk housesLover the floor plan, we upgraded to a 14 viewfinder 28bhss this spring. great for the kids and plenty of storage. the door directly to the bathroom from outside is nice to keep from everyone tracking through camper. My kids are 7 and 5 and they will grow into this just fine.Re: Shadow Cruiser S280QBS Axle/Tire/Propane/slide out issuesHey there, I hate to see folks with problems on the Cruiser RV line. I did a ton of research before ending up buying a 14 Viewfinder Signature 28bhss. we have towed over 3500 miles since delivery in May this year, with only minor new camper issues, (crooked blinds and a drawer that wasnt mounted correctly.) Im very thankful. But I was chiming in on the axle thing. Mine are marked 260bhs also. but they are 3500lb axles. at first i was not happy because of the under rating issues I have seen on here with Lippert axles, but once i got it weighed i realized it is really ok. My gvwr is 7660 (which im not close to btw) which made me think they were not heave enough, but my loaded for camping is only 5976 axle weight which leaves me 1024 worth of axle left to spare. the rest of the weight is up front on hitch being distributed. So that gave me some relief. I know it doesnt make the rest ok, but i am just hoping it could relieve one part of your worries. I hope your dealer takes care of you on your issues.Re: TV TransmisionThe Z71 options deletes Z85 due to being the same upgraded hd suspension. so If you have just the 4x4 the you would want the Z85, but if its a Z71 already then no need to look for a Z85 RPORe: A new TT for us, VienFinder 28bhs,If it is the Solera made by LCI, yes you can pull down on both sides or just one side to direct water. Kind of a neat concept, but just hate the speed of the motor in the awning itself.Re: A new TT for us, VienFinder 28bhs,I have a 2014 viewfinder bhss also. They water pump in under the bottom bunk. fold up bunk and remove panel to reveal it. yes it has a ez winterize hose and valve inside. if you have the LCI power awning like it do, (which im not impressed with) It should not make a bunch of noise, at least mine doesn't it is just not anywhere near as fast as the carefree power awning on my KZ hybrid i had prior to this one. Mine does adjust down, ya just pull on the arms near the trailer, right under the gas shocks at the elbow. it will stay at angle that ya stop pulling down at with the shock.Re: Viewfinders-28bhssmultiple numbers are found actually. With my set up the closest i found was anywhere from 8000- 9000. mine is 12250 combined with my truck and trailer on the scales. if any of that helpsRe: Viewfinders-28bhssWe just bought a 14 Viewfinder 28bhss we tow with 09 silverado half ton with 5.3 and 3.73 gears. It pulls great. many on here will tell you no, but it is within the trucks capacity. We pulled ours from ohio to disney through the smokeys and had no problems. Love the trailer so far, love the floor plan. no so sure about the lippert components power awning.. its super slow compared to the Carefree I had on my last TT.Re: Looking at a Jayco White Hawk 28DSBHI recently upgraded to a rig very similar to what you are looking at. I got the Viewfinder signature 28bhss. Looked at tons and settled on this one, and it has worked out perfectly for us. I tow with a 09 silverado with 5.3 and 3.73 gears. pulls great. A lot of folks on here will say otherwise, but We just returned from a trip to Disney with it and I could not be happier. The weights seem to be really close on my model and the Whitehawk you are looking at, so in my opinion, any truck in your option list would be a great fit.
