Plan to move and partially retire up there in hopefully 3 to 5 years. Possibly on 20 to 40 acres with lake/river access, design/build my own campsite type setup. Then travel part of the year???? Sick of travelling, park in my own enviroment.Re: Your RigNo name for her as of yet, I take alot of summer pics like the above, to help me get through the long winter.Re: Your Rig Re: Your RigI bought the boat from my neighbour, a 1973 Grew 140 with a 1973 Evinrude 50. She is a 14 footer, just big enough for my son and I. Brought it into the shop, repaired all the fibreglass and then painted the boat, then added some stripes. Spent some time on the motor, thermostat and impellar, double check everything etc. Had it out some five times this summer, ran good, a little noisy due to the 2 cyl 2 stroke, might update the motor to a 50 hp 4 stroke, maybe a Honda. Pulls a tube very well, and might try some water skiing next summer, damn, just got to get through the Canadian winter.Re: Your RigWow, that was easy, I've been trying to figure out how to post pics here for at least two weeks. Anyhow, there we go, close to 80 feet, built the truck myself. Ford with the Powerstroke 7.3 turbo, and a 32 foot Jayco. Were fulltime in this unit, but still own and operate a truck collision welding repair shop, park the trailer next to the shop during the winter months, and camp/travel all summer. I will finish the truck this winter, for a complete boondocking setup, self contained, many thanks to the members here for all the good info they post, you collectively have steered me in the right direction time and time again.Re: Your Rig Okay thanks, try this.Re: Your RigI was hoping that my pic address would come up as a link, copy and paste till I figure it out.Re: Your RigHopefully this works . Been lurking for some time now, members here really post some good and interesting info.
