I will have it looked at.Re: Electrical problemHi again, So i got one of those kila watt devices and tried it in the rv with the generator. The voltage was 171. I then turned the fridge on which reduced it to 164. I left it on for 10 to 15 mins and it remained pretty constant at around 164/165. I also tried the kila watt device at home to make sure its working properly and it reads 120 so seems to work ok. Any ideas? Thanks muchRe: Electrical problemThanks for all the help people. I guess I'll first try one of those kill a watt things to see what's coming out of my generator (with no load and when I turn on some stuff), then perhaps get an inverter depending on results.Re: Electrical problem"Get fried" means that the light went out, it got very hot and smelled like it was burning inside. What's an MOV? What size invertor would I need and would that plug into the cigarette lighter socket or have to be hard wired to the battery? Thanks much!Re: Electrical problemoh and has 59 hours on it if that makes a differenceRe: Electrical problemI think the generator is an Onan quiet (or something) 4000 that is installed in the Rv. RV is a 2013 Forest River Sunseeker 3170DS class C.Re: Gas alarm going offExcellent. Thank you. Will replace and see how that goes!Re: Electrical problemThank you for the suggestions!Re: Gas alarm going offThanks for the responses. I guess I didn't word my post correctly. The RV is new to me but not brand new. It is a 2013 with 7,000 miles. I purchased privately so can not take it back anywhere. I do not smell any propane. ThanksGas alarm going offI purchased a new Rv last weekend and while dring it home and testing it at a campground this weekend. The gas alarm has gone off twice. It was the red led for gas not the green one for CO that is next to it. After pressing the button to silence it, it did not alarm again. How do i know if i have a gas leak or a faulty detector? I could not smell any gas, i had windows open and there was no gas appliances being used. Thanks for any help!
