I ran the set up on our first dry camping trip and it was great.Re: Do I need an inverterThanks for the opinions everyone! My local store had a 1500w so I picked it up, however I never used it. Kids had fun playing board games, and that rest of the time we weren't at the camp.Re: Do I need an inverterI have 2 232ah 6v and 85ah 12v . We aren't going to be that long, and I can charge the laptops in the truck, so I am not looking for much. Just wanted to know what I am in for, like I said this is all new to me. Thanks for the responses.Re: Do I need an inverterOk, I am not looking at doing anything crazy, so would a 300W be enough or should I look at something bigger?Do I need an inverterI feel a little stupid asking this question, but I want to make sure I understand. We are doing our first dry camping, and wanted to know if I need to have an inverter. I want to be able to run my laptop periodically and may need a plug here and there. Also we have a tv installed that the kids may watch once in a while (not for long). We have a Jayco x213. Any help will be appreciated.Re: 2 6v parallel with 1 12vWell I have a box built on the front, and hooking in parallel is pretty easy with it. I just didn't want to cause any damage to the 6v or the RV by running it in parallel.Re: 2 6v parallel with 1 12vThanks everyone. I think I am going to go with the 12v as being a spare.2 6v parallel with 1 12vHey Guys, I am new to RVing and I we have just bought a jayco x213. My family and I are doing our first dry camping and I have purchased 2 6v batteries. My question is this, will I run into any problems hooking the 2x6v (already in series) parallel with the 12v. They are different batteries. Should I just keep the 12 as a back up and run the 6v? Any recommendations would be great!
