In reading up on the truck the only thing I'm seeing that makes me hesitate is the gear ratio for the rear end ??? Maybe I read things wrong ?? I will continue to read this post with much interest . Judy D.Re: 2012 kodiak 263rlsWe have a 2013 Kodiak, bought it around thanksgiving time. I really like the layout of it and every thing seems pretty good so far. We bought it in Idaho so towed it to home here in washington. Traveled to california in February, been a couple of places here in Washington and plan a trip to Montana this summer. Happy so far. Towes well No issues Good luck with yours JudyRe: 2014 Dutchmen kodiak 242RESL Quality? We have a 2013 Kodiak. I really like the floor plan and we have had no major issues with it. Tows great.Re: artic fox trailorsours in a 2002 22 foot no slides. Still on the road Yes . Heavy Yes, Made to last Yes !! Judy DRe: What Did You Do For Your Travel Trailer Recently?new to us used 23 foot so lots of stuff. New oxygentics shower head, plexi glass cover on the screen door, resealed every thing ( and I mean everything) key holder mounted just inside the door, took down large mirror behind the dinett and hung a flat screen tv, hooked up the direct tv "box", had the wheel bearings and brakes inspected. Been a very busy spring for us.Re: Arctic Fox travel trailersWe just picked up a used 02 AF. Yes it had delamination. Knew that when we bought it. Had it repaired . Pleased with the trailer. It has a lot of storage space . Yes it is heavy, but tows great. Was easy to keep cool when it was in the high 90's out side. We also camp in the winter and expect it will be just as easy to keep warm in the winter. Was thrilled to find a used one . Like stated they are hard to find and this one was very clean and well worth the work to fix. Looking forward to many more years of use.Re: Trailer Length definitionHah figure this one out. Our toy Hauler was a 2300 ( 23 foot ) It angeled in at the base. The actual box at the longest point ( no bumper ) was 25 feet. From hitch to rear total length was 28 feet. Yep they want you to think you are getting a very roomy trailer thats only 23 feet long so you of course can pull it with just about any thing.Re: What's wrong with bumper sewer hose storage???our bumper has what looks like pvc lining in it so no problemsRe: Outside fiberglass ripped offyep had the same thing happen on a 02 arctic fox that we just picked up. Fortunatly we bought it from a RV repair guy who new it needed some work and assured us that it would be taken care of . Was good on his word it's been in the shop for going on 3 weeks now. I check on it every week to see progress. We where fortunate in that it was purchased with the understanding that the repairs would be made at no additional cost. He has literally reframed the entire front and down both sides as well as part of the floor in the front bedroom.Windows are back in, roof is back on should be back home this week. YAHOO. We will literally have a new trailer by the time he is done. He is doing great work . I had never seen a trailer striped down and rebuilt before . Very interesting.Judy
