Ya I liked the dually set up, made things a breeze for towing , I was just exploring my options, after measuring my parking stall at home any truck except a 1/2 ton will fit, the new super dutys and rams are 6'7" tall and the door to the underground is 6'5" Any one have insights to the new fords ? Hey everyone, So my 2012 ram dually was stolen from me and now need to replace , I'm thinking of going to a srw, I'm looking to see if a crew cab long box is a good fit to haul a 12' alpen lite truck camper and the occasional horse trailer at the same time, Parking is limited at my condo and that's why I'm thinking to down size Any thoughts or experiences would be great, Thanks Dave3KViews0likes12Comments3rd set of fast guns on a unit?
Driving down the road today I saw a dodge dually with a northern lite on it, he had the normal located tie downs and then I notice he had a set of mini fast guns going from the camper bumper to the tork lift tie downs at the back end ,has anyone seen this before and what is the purpose or Benefit to doing this? I picked up a set yesterday , so far here's my thoughts They don't interfere with my sensors, they are heavy duty , no sail and they stopped any rocks from pinging off the horse trailer last night . That being said I think ill have to pull them off while the camper is load since I do most my hauling with out the camper on , my alpen lite isn't that light so I think my flaps will end up dragging if I leave Em on431Views0likes0Comments
