I loved my cummins , fuel economy sucked tho , looking at all my optionstruck was stolen now need to replaceHey everyone, So my 2012 ram dually was stolen from me and now need to replace , I'm thinking of going to a srw, I'm looking to see if a crew cab long box is a good fit to haul a 12' alpen lite truck camper and the occasional horse trailer at the same time, Parking is limited at my condo and that's why I'm thinking to down size Any thoughts or experiences would be great, Thanks DaveRe: 3rd set of fast guns on a unit?Nope I haves superhitch in my dodge, this guy had em go from the torklift tie downs to the bumperRe: 3rd set of fast guns on a unit?Yep that's a fast gun3rd set of fast guns on a unit?Driving down the road today I saw a dodge dually with a northern lite on it, he had the normal located tie downs and then I notice he had a set of mini fast guns going from the camper bumper to the tork lift tie downs at the back end ,has anyone seen this before and what is the purpose or Benefit to doing this? Thanks DaveRe: Rock tamersI got them for 277$ cdn took me 20 min to installRe: Heat strips in the ac unitsI like the Furance more then heat strip, I'm playing with the idea of selling my tc and my 5'er an buying a horse trailer with LQ , and a lot of the trailers I'm seeing only have a heat strip, does me no good come hunting season or winter for show Thanks everyoneHeat strips in the ac unitsDoes any one have them? How do you like them? Also they only run off shore power or a gen set correct? DaveRe: Rock tamersI picked up a set yesterday , so far here's my thoughts They don't interfere with my sensors, they are heavy duty , no sail and they stopped any rocks from pinging off the horse trailer last night . That being said I think ill have to pull them off while the camper is load since I do most my hauling with out the camper on , my alpen lite isn't that light so I think my flaps will end up dragging if I leave Em onRock tamersAnyone running rock tamers with their campers? I'm looking at buying a set but not sure if they work with the over hang or back up sensors Any info would be great Thanks Dave
