What can it handle?so from what they are saying this is a good thing. if you reeeealllly want that 5'ver. this means you get to go look for a 4500 size truck. that is guy stuff. if it dont work get a bigger hammer. if you cant pull it get a bigger truck. just saw one at the dealer ......wow what a massive truck that was. kinda made me all teenage girl emotional. my wife said. oh hell no you cant have it. i told her to give me a moment with the truck.Re: Bouncing up and downgoing to add my two cents here. i am going to side with the shock theory. however, from personal experience. i filled my bed half full of sand and after that i had something similar to this. i thought i blew a shock. i replaced them and still had excess travel as well as bounce. after doing some checking i broke some spring leafs under the top one so it was not catching the down ward motion as it should have. what i am saying all i had was the top and second spring doing the support. it was, an interesting ride if i may add.Re: New Truck - But I'm not happy about it....the new generation. its better to represent then to actually succeed at the job. never thought i would see someone more concerned about their rims then the truck that can actually do what they wanted. but then again i am one of them guys that turns a pick up into a rock crawler and wonders why i break schit.Re: Purchase a hail damaged rig?if it looks like it was a target at a golf course you need to ask youself. does having a certain amount of character make or break the trailer in your eyes? character.....? lol i remember my uncle telling me when i was 7, we lived in the country side. went in the house and he said it smelled as if it stepped in some CHARACTER. those were fund days.Re: cracked exhaust manifoldi do all my own engine work. the hardest bolts i have ever tried to take off belong to fords. i dont know why. they seem to rust in place permanently. (i only own dodges) even my camaro as a kid wasn't bad taking the engine out do us a favor. take pics of your removal and install. not for me but for other go getters that might want to do it themselves. always helpfulRe: Fall Campingdon't forget the cameras people. would love to see the scenery;)
