Had limited construction in Arkansas west of Memphis. Would go from Memphis to Little Rock, then Southwest on I 30 to Texas via Texarcana. I see construction everywhere no more no less.Re: DEF addativeI know that flying J on I57 in Illinois just north of Sikeston has def in the tank, problem is that is is located on the opposite side as my tank, would have to enter the wrong way into the pumps, over the road trucks lined up at the deisel pumps, no way for me to get to the pumps, just bought the plastic 2 1/2 gal. Evidently my guage dowes not work properly, shows 1/3 full and could only get about a gallon into it before it overflowed.Re: Are large gas motor Rv's underpower? Maybe I should look for a 2000 model. :B I had a dreadful noise in the right front of my Chieftain, then I moved her back to the sofa. bumpy Ok, you two, I've been married for 43 years and I know better than to comment on your suggestions, she reads these posts.:WRe: Are large gas motor Rv's underpower?I have a 2000 Coachman Triton V-10, power has not been an issue, we are looking at a DP, because of the hope that it will be a quieter ride. We have to shout at each to be heard over the engine. Radio is of no use while traveling at 60-65 MPH on level road, just gets worse on hill climbs.Re: Showing my RV to prospective buyersWe are also involved with trying to sell our MH. We are trying the diy approach and have it listed on RV Trader, no bites, probably a little high, looked into trade with a regional dealer and they were extremely conservative with their allowance maybe $15,000 low, I worry about consignment it sits there and they use it to sell theirs, nicer upgrade or lower priced similar. I had not considered the issues of trust with potential buyers, will have to think about what you all have said.Re: Trailer Towing a CarI have been using a 26' Featherlite Aluminum Tandem Axle Flat trailer to haul a 1996 Chev Trail Blazer on (the small one). We hook it up at home behind our 36' Coachman Santara and tie it down to the trailer, 10 or 15 minute process. Don't know total weight or really total length but I'm sure that I worry 70 ft. Navigator calls campgrounds as we approach asks about pull thru advises them that we are a 36 footer with a 24 ft trailer. Not ever been turned down.Re: Arkansas to FloridaI agree with Mike O, we did the trip to Tampa and basically followed Mikes same route with out any problems.
