All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: RV Tires I traded in my Michelins for Toyos a couple years ago, and could not be happier. I did find however Toyo does not have a tire the same size as the Michelins, at least in my case. Have your tire person help with either going up or down on size. Re: Branson Camping I believe op is referring to "Bull Creek". I drive past it every day and I can say for a new park it looks ok. The folks who own it took out old moble homes and turned the land into something to look at. Its about 20 min or so to the main Branson theater district. As for grocery stories Forsyth is the closest. With walmart a ways away. Come to Branson and enjoy all it has for folks of all ages. Re: Winterizing tips and tricks There really is not much more to the plumbing winterizing than the pink antifreeze. I would remind you to open each and every value that deals with water. Its important to make sure the antifreeze touches everything. Lets talk mice! You need a plan to keep those friendly little critters out of your camper. Everybody has a different method to handle this problem. I can only speak about mine do not know is right or wrong but for me it works. If you have access to keep unit plugged in. I use the Bell and Howell mice plug in sound things from one of the big box store. Mine are plugged in all the time. I also use an large quantity of moth balls, 2 boxes. I will pour some moth balls in small plastic cups and put in drawers, under bed, out in open, I even put in outside bays. Knock on wood not mice problems for many years. Good Luck Re: Beware, The new Campground in Dillon MT I have found that the campgrounds offering discounts that use the third party booking all have this problem. I will call the park direct and ask for the discounts then book straight through them. Some sites I have been on will state that if you want discounts you need to call direct. Re: Fueling Issue Its all about the vent tube. In a past MH I had to raise one side with the jacks so it would fill. I finally learned about the vent tube, I followed it and found a bad kink in the line. I straighten the line and problem solved. Re: Dometic RM2620 Replacement Instead replacing the whole frig. why not just replace the cooling unit. I have replaced the cooling unit in my Norcold instead of trying to find a unit that would fit the space. Try JC Refrigeration for new cooling units. https://jc-refrigeration.com/ Re: 2 primary Care and Pain Management while traveling I am sure others have had more experience with this than myself, however I can give some advice. I had my scrips/meds throught CVS at home. I needed a refill for one and there was no CVS around. The local pharmacy called CVS and the scrip was just transferred no major problem. I would have been easier maybe to drive the little extra miles to the CVS where everything was on file. I also had to have shots for wet amd while gone. This required me to find a doctor at my location that does that work. Then I had to have my medical files sent to new doc so he knew what was going on. Scheduling was a problem as had to plan month or two out. I feel its almost better doing the leg work yourself once things are in place double check with insurance to see if all is ok. Good Luck Re: Slideout lubrication Require! Maybe not thats one to read the owners manual or slide out manufacturers site. Now with that being said, my coach is 07 so I do lubricate the exposed slide components every so often. For me it depends on how long the slides have been out. I have found that 3in1 makes a great silicone spray for slideouts. Good Luck Re: Norcold NN611VRT issue running of electric I am by far no expert on the workings of Norcold. My first thought however was are you sure the 120 outlet you are plugged into is working? As you installed solar are you trying to run off that system? Another thought to narro.w down the problem may be to plug frig. into a direct 120v line seperate from your camper. If frig. works on seperate line then your problem would be camper related. Re: How to drain fresh water tank? Its possible to have 4 low point drains. However they have nothing to do with the draining of your fresh water tank. Take a look under your unit, what do you see as far as hoses coming through the floor. The fresh water drain value could be almost anywhere, but it will be by itself. Does not your owners manual help with this issue.
