I have been searching for a toy hauler that I can pull with my Transit which has a 4500lb max loaded trailer weight. I want to Haul a 1100lb UTV. That leaves a max Dry trailer weight of 3400lbs. Does anyone know of a <3400lb dry toy hauler? The only one I have found is the Livin Lite and it seems they have stopped production. Travel Lite has one that is close but the toy area is too small. Has anyone found other options? Thanks! I hate to be a downer, but please check your understanding of weights - I don't think these numbers add up the way you think they do. The 4,500 max, if accurate, accounts for absolutely nothing in the Transit except (maybe) a standard (ie - 150lb or so) driver. Are you the only one in the Transit? Are there other passengers? Is there any gear? Fido? Also, are you going to have no gear, fluids, or food in the trailer? Any propane? Fresh Water? Tools and gear for the UTV? People have different perspectives on the importance of staying within weights, but buying a trailer that weighs 3,400 dry is not going to keep you within ratings - there are many other things that come into play. I would bet that, with a 3,400 dry toy hauler, you'd be upwards of 1,000 pounds overweight the first time you rolled out! Trailer towing ratings have nothing to do with the weight of the passengers. That's included and calculated in the GVWR, payload and tow capacity are not relative and the towing capacity. THE ONLY thing a trailer can contribute to the GVWR is the tongue weight EDIT to add GCVWR is the sum of the twoRe: Toy Hauler Pictures2019 26CB 17 foot garage. Can't wait for camping season. My first equalizer hitch. Seems to be a pretty neat setup over the old Curt ones. Going in the shop for minor warranty fixes Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh myWhat I'm thinking, except for the sideways quad up front, that's where the rzr would be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psqOQtgWS7wRe: 2 quads and a RZR oh my discovery4us wrote: Have you considered the possibility of standing the quads up. Old friends of ours used to stand two Yamaha 450's up and then backed their RZR into a 14' garage. It was a pain and tight but got the toys where they needed to be. Last resort, but I'll do what I have too. Just need to make sure I don't have any cabinets in the back area. I saw on the forum a guy put dune buggies facing each other and the front of one on top of another. But it fit. Sport quads are pretty light too.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh myYup have kids and want at least a curtain. I’ve seen guys put quads side by side. There’s a guy on the rzr forum that has a sport quad next to a rzr. I’m not wanting to do that. I’d rather keep the tire marks confined to the floor. Big truck is not on the table.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh my Wild Card wrote: will not work A RZR is 106'' your quads are what 43-44'' sideways thats 200''/12= 16'3'' roughly. Look at ATC Toyhauler 8.5 or x24 or 8.5x28 or Millenium trailers offerings Quads side by side. 102” wide trailers.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh myForest River VENGEANCE ROGUE 25V or Jayco Octane Super Lite 265 Any owners? 15'plus garage. Just wondering if the rzr trail will fit in the forward area. Then I can easily put the quads behind.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh myI would also like to be able to fit everything in the garage. If I head out to the trail head, I would hate to have to unhook the truck just to unload.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh my 2001400ex wrote: souraider wrote: Also having "been there...done that" with an F150 Ecoboost, and Max-tow package you will end up over on your rear axle limit, and likely over on GVWR. What's your budget? I personally wouldn't go with the Boost. My buddy has one and it's cheaply built. You can just push in the walls essentially. But he does fit his RZR and dirt bike in it. Check out the Forest River Hyperlite models. As I've stated, you'll need 14 feet of garage for a RZR and a quad sideways. That being said....I personally would ask the dealer to hook up the trailer to your pickup and put the RZR in it before you buy. The dealer will say it'll pull anything no matter what you have. But I have seen too many people drive 10 miles down the road and realize the dealer is full of it. Thanks for the heads up, that’s pretty much the reason for my question here. I was looking at wolf packs (14+) also. Budget would like to keep as far below the 30k mark as possible and under 12k lbs 10k even nicer, but getting into the light models. I do see I need to get the quads side by side and the rzr up in front of them. Just don’t know my selections and who’s done that.Re: 2 quads and a RZR oh my lincster wrote: I did contribute to the original question so does that make it ok that I jump on the weight police band wagon?
