On the tub, I've seen this used a lot Tub and it seems to work pretty good. At least it gives you an option if you found a layout you like without a tub option. The 6gal water heater should be fine unless your taking hollywoods. I've never run out of hot water with mine. I'm with you on salesman, they should know the product they are selling. I'm in sales and I make it my job to understand all aspects of the equipment I provide. Too bad you mentioned a weight in here, the weight police are going to swarm.Re: Bought new TT todayNice! Glad to see a positive experience from a dealer. What makes an off road package? Is the suspension different?Re: TH Ramp Door ProblemRamp door Saw this while browsing if anyone is interested. Says free shipping and has the patio kit.Re: Furniture in the RV F-TROUP wrote: The wife didn't care for the short love seat so upgraded to a regular sofa, much better comfort wise. Had to remove the rear window to remove the old and install the new, so 50 1/2" screws later the window was out. Took 3 of us to do it, but was easy. That's thinking outside the box!Re: Furniture in the RV RoyB wrote: Most of the RV furniture I have seen is smaller than regular house furniture... Might want to take that into consideration when looking for replacements... There is also another consideration of being able to get the RV furniture in and out of the one RV doorway in most cases... Those are not normal size household doorways as well... Roy Ken Didn't think of the doorway width. Will have to do some measuring for sure.Furniture in the RVOk I'm looking at buying a regular love seat to replace the twin recliners that are currently a waste of space. I saw a regular love seat with a console that weighed 100lbs that was pretty cool. My question is how much does an RV love seat with console weigh? The regular one is about half the cost and has more features.Re: Heavy hitch head, ideas on lifting/moving it?You could take a little four wheel dolly from harbor freight and extend the spots where the wheels connect high enough to get a low floor jack under it. Lift it to hitch height and take the weight off the truck, pull your pin and lower onto its wheels. Roll it into the garage. I've done something similar for a wheelchair lift on the back to allow the person to remove the 120lb lift and roll it into the garage. Or something like this LinkRe: Need to rent a tow vehicle.TuroYou could use Turo and rent someone's truck. Tons of trucks for rent in Dallas. It's like air bnb but for cars. I've used it before instead of using a rental car. It's an app in the App Store and it has a websiteRe: Good Sam InsuranceThat's pretty much everyone. I have good Sam on one RV and USAA on my other one and at least I can buy a year policy. USAA makes me update every 6 months with increases there as well.Re: Where To Dump Black Water When Dry Camping NWKomfort350 wrote: Grit dog wrote: City folk vs country folk......love it! Some of y'all need to get out of the city more..... Question to the nay Sayers, what do you do when you have to take a leak or drop a deuce in the woods? Hold it til you run back to "civilization"? Bag it and throw it in your pack with lunch and the compass? Here's a nice little fact to gross out the city slickers. The entire Victoria BC area dumps ALL their raw sewage into the water. Have been forever! We just got the contract to build the first sewer treatment plant there, lol. (Better stop eating that wild caught salmon and halibut from the strait of Juan de fuca. Them fish get fat on recycled poutine and Kokanee!) I just caught a halibut out on Middle Bank on May 4th. It was delicious!!! Some of that special corn fed Halibut, lol.
