So that one should be taken for a ride over a rougher road. Mine's a 2004 (purchased new) and that noise went away long ago. And we've been on some rough roads since '04. No problem... :)Re: Windshield RepalcementYou might contact this company for info. http://www.safelite.com/contact-us/ Different scenario for me (vehicle broken into, covered by insurance). They came out to the hotel parking lot (PA/NJ)and replaced the glass on site. Might be expensive in your case... :(Re: cb and antennasI have a small 'Hustler' magnetic mount antenna stuck to my hood. Receives/transmits great forward & aft. I use it for when I'm bored, or for when I need to know what lane I should be in during a traffic backup. :)Re: class c or tow trailer, which is better? It is a personal decision based on one's lifestyle and health. I went from a LONG TT to a small Class C. The only thing 'I' miss is the storage space. For me the maneuverability is easier with the motorhome, not to mention not having to get out in the bad weather when you stop, and you can stop anywhere. Security is a factor too, not having to expose myself (from having stopped at that 'anywhere' :)))) When the motorhome/camping event calls for it, I can always tow my Miata. Good luck in your decision and welcome to the forum.... :CRe: fix one issue, find anotherThe battery might be something simple as low electrolyte level. When was the last time that you checked that?Re: Electrical help needed no metal put rod for the awning Rather than buying one which has a limited use. Go buy a cheap fireplace poker. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120511015806/condemned/images/f/f4/Poker3-1-.gif When not pulling out the awning, can also be used around the campfire. :BRe: RV friendly Walmarts around Salt Lake City? Just go to the KOA in SLC. They have a free shuttle that will take you downtown to Temple Square and bring you back. I'll second that. But call ahead to the KOA as in my visit, a convention was in town and KOA was full. In my case, they fit my little class C on a 'tent site' and all was well. The Temple Square shuttle was operated by the Mormons and was great, on schedule to and from. :CRe: Just heard it on ABC's Evening News...Over here on your coast recently.N.C. officers kill alligator after it eats 80-pound dog This one was only a Class B. :BRe: tire brands that handle and ride the best??Mine came with Uniroyals and after six years replaced them with another set of Uniroyals. Plenty of tread remaining on the originals, they were replaced due to sidewall cracking. Now here's something to note concerning 'ride' other than changing tire pressures, the tire's 'load rating'. My originals were 'D' rated and I went with 'E' rated tires. A very noticeable difference in 'ride', much harsher (but bearable). After 3 years no sidewall cracking noticeable, nor wear of the treads. I'm liking the Uniroyals (owned by Michelin). My RV averages 9,000 miles per year and if these ever wear out, I may go back to the 'D' load range. :)Re: Floor MatsYes, thanks!! :C
