Arctic fox 1140/1150 mods
Just picked up an arctic fox 1140. Wondering what mods people have done to make it more liveable, usable. Mine is an 05 so it has the large tv cabinet I’m removing that and putting a swing out arm and a 12 volt tv. Second consideration is I can but the fox landing step which adds on to the existing camper bumper I am thinking of getting something custom made with some storage anybody have an pics of something they have done1.3KViews0likes3CommentsInverter install
New purchase I want to install an inverter in my 05 arctic fox 1150. I read a few different ways to do this, but I think the easiest is wire it to the battery install a 30 amp plug in the power cable box. When I want to use or run the inverter shut off the converter and plug it in, I am considering a remote selectable switch as well so I can choose shore power or inverter. My only concern is I have a generator which I would like to use to recharge the batteries. So I would have to have the inverter off I am guessing other wise it will damage it is what I have read Any flaws in my thinking, is there a way to set a buzzer to let me know the converter is still on when I turn the inverter on I know you can get smart charging inverters but that is a complicated expensive setup. I am just purchasing a 05 arctic fix 1150, I want to install an auto boat loader to the top. The ones that hinge so the rear back lower diwn yiu secure the boat, in my case kayaks and it goes up and puts them on the roof. I have an isolator in my rv, 3 posts, top post has multiple wires running to it secong post runs to house, 3rd to start, i am getting charge current through to house batteries and back into coach, but i am not getting charge current through to start bank, but it does when i am running the alternator, but not the charger system but i can see the current at the top post and going through to the house bank, super confused712Views0likes5Comments87 triple e regency converter issue
New to me motorhome has an allson d40-bra-e, converter seems to be working fine, but when i connect the line to the batteries the voltage jumps up to15/16 volts, disconnect the wire and it drops down to high 12/13 ish. also there is a spring loaded points device that on one side reads 13.?? volts nothing on the other, then when you depress it it send the voltage through to the other side, its part of the floating charging system, but what make the point device engage as its not, i manual do it. i know there are newer better units out there but i would like to get this one working if possible for this season927Views0likes2CommentsRe: Wiring harness 99 Monaco diplomat
I haven't bought the coach yet, but am seriously considering it, it is going to take a lot of work and just trying sort out how much work it needs, the rear 2 compartments the one with the inverter and the battery one. It would have been better if I dismantled it myself but the current owner did so I am not sure of how it was designed and laid out444Views0likes0Comments
