I had an '84 Citation 22' and it was around 3,500lb.Re: When the battery runs dead.... wa8yxm wrote: Unless you have expanded the battery bank the design is normally "overnight". SO yes, days of camping it will run down. Now: A true DEEP CYCLE (like a 6 volt golf car battery) May be ok if recharged swiftly. MARINE/deep cycle.. Well you might get lucky but odds are poor Starting batteries down that far are toast. In my experience it depends on what exactly you're camping in and how conservative you are with power. My previous 22' TT with one 12v deep cycle battery I could "dry camp" for about 5 days before needing to recharge. With my new to me 32' fifth wheel with two 6V Trojans I went 9 days last year before needing to recharge. Granted this is with being conservative with power usage, using bath house for showers, and switching to led interior lights, but also included two set ups using landing gear and open/close one slide. As other have said, check voltage daily or twice daily and recharge as necessary depending on your battery.Re: Thoughts? My guess pin weight 1,800lb + UTV weight 1,000lb + steel rack/ramps weight 500lb = 3,300lb...and the payload is around 2,400lb best case for that model/year.Re: Assatigue camping in Maryland All I could afford wrote: Ok one more question I just thought of...I plan on filling my fresh water tank upon arrival before getting on my site. Is there the type of water supply that you attach your own hose? Or the type that you can only fill containers and then pour into tank if desired? This is for the State Park. There is a fresh water spigot on the left when you pull into the parking lot near the ranger station and also one at the dump station (make sure you use the fresh spigot and not the nonpotable). The sites do not have water hook up. I have stayed in the dog friendly loops and personally never noticed any issues where the owners did not clean up after their dogs. For quantity of dogs, not everyone in the dog loops have dogs so it kind of hit or miss. As far as generators, there are a mix of loud and quiet. Obviously the quiet ones you never hear, but when someone fires up a "contractor" style everyone knows. The nice thing about I loop is that it is rather spread out being a long skinny loop and unless they are right beside you, chances are you might not even hear it. Also hot summer weather more people run them for the AC then in the more seasonable months.Re: Which camp pie makers are durable and do a good job?I have to give a vote to Palmer Mfg. Being that they work great are made local to me, I couldn't buy anything else. Re: total newb... what is this? near hydraulic level rear right kimberlysmoore wrote: ...but generator still spits at me and dies like its sad... Does it draw gas from your main fuel tank or does it have a separate tank? If it is a separate tank it might just be some bad (old) gas and needs drained and refilled with fresh. Maybe I missed it but what do you mean by "ran it dry"? As in you ran it out of fuel? FYI - Based on today's gasolines and the ethanol they contain, I only put 93 octane in my mowers, atvs, generator, etc. Basically anything that doesn't get once every week. The 93 octane has a lower ethanol level and will last longer before it begins to break down. It's also a good idea to put in an additive such as Sta-bil or something similar into the fuel of those items.Re: Do you cross your safety chains? Mr. Camper wrote: Hope your mother is better.
