I knew I had the system but want even thinking about it with the x factor. I did find the correct part number, UO21-015. ThanksRe: MOR Ryde X Factor Frame Strengthening Lynnmor wrote: Here ya go, shock kit and trusses that I built: Looks great! Thanks lenr wrote: I installed after-market Correct Track and Equa-Flex on a prior trailer. I never noticed an improvement by the Equa-Flex (from a solid equalizer), and the Correct Track’s extra leverage all but ripped a spring hanger off during panic braking. Next was SRE4000 and riser tubes installed by MORRyde. SRE4000 was night and day difference—great.... Note: when OP gets around to the SRE4000 it will raise the trailer about 1”. For me that helped level the fifth wheel and allow for larger, higher capacity, tires. Good info, thanks. I have the equa flex and trail air hitch so I feel practically nothing besides the actual pin weight. The ride couldn't improve much from whats translated into the truck. Doesnt mean the sre4000 wont drastically help the trailers ride and lessen frame damages. My trailer has tall headroom in bedroom which translates to a lower hitch height and me towing slightly nose high with only 6" of clearance. The extra inch in height is another benefit I was hoping for.Re: MOR Ryde X Factor Frame Strengthening garyp4951 wrote: I'm not sure that the Xfactor brace will work with Correct Track brackets installed. I cant tell you how many times I looked at that part brochure and didnt consider it. All they talk about is equalizer type. I need to investigate this more, may call tmrw. Lynnmor wrote: The Correct Track extensions add more stress on the hangers so the cross bracing is needed even more. I built my own custom cross bracing that is bolted in to allow servicing things in the belly. I dont have extensions. My spring hangers have the correct trac built into them, they're about the same size and length as traditional ones. My understanding is that they are thinner. The new 2020s dont have them or equaflex. Just standard hanger and dexter ezflex now. You cant go telling me you built your own and not provide some pictures!!MOR Ryde X Factor Frame StrengtheningI have a 2018 Open Range 374BHS. This unit has the Equaflex equalizers and correct track spring hangers. Within the last 3 years I easily have 10k miles probably closer to 15k miles as the unit just came back from the factor for 2 sidewall replacements. I'm not full timer but do take it out quite regularly from April to Nov, as much as the North East weather allows. I am looking to add the MorRyde Xfactors to all 3 spring hangers. I would be installing these in conjunction with a MorRyde heavy duty shackle and wet bolt kit. Planning on reusing my current equaflex equalizers. I'm also thinking of just using angle iron and welding into place, much cheaper but not removable and probably voids frame warranty. Anyone have issues with self install supports? These new kits would work if I decided to upgrade to the SRE 4000 later on but I'm not disappointed in the current equaflex so leaving this as is saves me about $400. I have 4 new Saliun tires but they are not currently installed. Has anyone had any issues with the spring hangers after installing the xfactor? I've seen a few failures on the Open Range page so I'm trying to catch this prior one. Brakes and bearings will be addressed during install. Anything else to consider? Re: Snow tires? Grit dog wrote: Was wonderin about those and almost bought a set. Tire deals are almost non existent recently. My Craigslist tire shopping days are numbered, unless for takeoffs. Seems nothing out there like it used to be locally. (Too many people and too much $ in Seattle currently) But the Exos looked like the best $/feature when I was lookin recently. I was able to leave them locally but they wanted between 3-400$ more for the set. I waited until discount tire had a promotion going on and purchased them for around 900 and with mounting and balancing g was just over $1,000. Cheaper than most other option especially ko2s and ridge grapplers which are much more popular tires. The ko2s are very loud on my work vehicle and friends haven't even gotten 20k when used on a tow vehicle. I've got about 4k miles on mine and really couldnt be any happier. Another tire I read high reviews about was the copper st maxx TurnThePage wrote: Exo Grapplers do look nice, but just a bit too much weight for my little half ton I think. They're heavy as theyre based off the mud tire carcass but have a more road friendly tread. My last truck came with 10ply from the factory and they worked great, however I would guarantee you probably suffer mileage. I've only seen these tires twice. One on a jeep and the other on an f150. Another option not mentioned yet is the Falken Wildpeak At3. Those were almost on my truck but because they were so cheap I was nervous they wouldn't hold up. My rear axle is nearly 6900lbs and I didnt want to have an issue trying to save $50.Re: Snow tires?Look at Nitto Exo Grappler. For some reason their not popular however im very happy with mine. I was looking for an all around good snow long last tire. A couple people have them on the cummins forum and theyve lasted around 40k miles. They have the snowflake for severe snow rating. They have large deep lugs and work great towing with minimal noise. My 5er 14.4k lbs and im 23.7k combined. The noise stays nice below 70. When getting above that they do get louder. My wife didnt notice a differece from the stock firestone AT Re: Air Pin Box: Which one to get???I'm quite happy with my trail air. You can see it work while driving over the bumps. I am quite new to th 5th wheel world and have bot towed without this on the trailer. I do have second thoughts about the $1,000 it cost to upgrade and wonder if the Morryde rubber pin box would have been just as good for nearlt half the price. Either way I've had no chucking and nothing but a pleasant ride when towing a 40' camper with a SRW without any airbags.Re: Trouble finding a honest dealership to buy Ram 3500http://www.indytruckchampion.com Check this guy out. He's the sales manager. Very active on the Cummins forum and had one of the largest ram dealers because of all his special orders he does. I do wish I was able to find him before buying mine. My old 5th wheel I ended up peeling off the decals because they were so bad. This unit has to last and I want to do everything I can within financial reson to protect it. Thanks! Dave Figured a pic would help you see it in person. Its not the best but ypu get the idea. This was early in the winter before we really had any snow. Don't know your exact situation but I couldn't imagine trying to install this or take it off during the summer between trips. My wife thinks I'm too crazy now because I don't like leaving the slides out. It's definitely harder to remove it than install and forget about folding it. Mines sitting in a a huge folded pile in the basement because everything's so wet around here that I don't dare try to roll the cover up and put it away. Re: Dennis Dillon RamIt's not too close for you like myself but since tour looking at deals far away check this guy out. http://www.indytruckchampion.com He's pretty active on the Cummins forum. He specializes in custom order and does quite a bit of customizing to those that want it. Many on the forum talk very highly of him. Wish I did more research and found him prior to ordering my 2016.
