Our Riverside Retro 180R has an actual Queen size bed in it.Re: Water Heater bypass questionPink antifreeze came out when the toilet was flushed during the walk through. I guess my main concern is it an issue with anything inside of the tank.Water Heater bypass questionSo I just noticed that my new Trailer's water heater is set in normal (not bypass) mode and I know it was winterized by the factory. Can I assume the water heater is full of antifreeze? I've herd it's not just wasteful, but also not good for the water heater. It's a Suburban heater btwInsulation under the bedAnybody use those foam insulation panels under the bed in the pass through area. Any down side to doing this, is it over kill? I can see early Spring and late Fall in the Midwest being rather cool at nightRe: Wheel Chocks with levelers on double axel travel trailerThanks everyone. I appreciate your opinionsWheel Chocks with levelers on double axel travel trailerSo using the lego style levelers on 2 wheels, what do people use for wheel chocks. The wedge style seems to like the wouldn't hold with that set up. Is the scissor type wheel chock my only option?Re: Towing Trailer with a 4RunnerObviously I own a 4runner a 2015 to be exact. My situation is almost identical to the OP. My new TT is a Riverside Retro 180R with an actual dry weight of 3560 lbs. I've researched the hell out of whether my 4Runner will work with that TT. What I've found is the people who just look at the numbers say it's not a good TV for that TT. Then the people who have actually towed with their 4Runner in a similar situation say they've had no issues at all. Maybe the 4Runner is underrated? I don't know that answer. I can give my assessment in a couple of weeks on how it works.Re: Towing Trailer with a 4RunnerSeems like Minni 1801 is the only one posting who has experience with a 5th gen 4Runner. I'm just curious where does it say not to use a WDH on a 5th gen 4Runner? I don't see it in the manual, I haven't read any official Toyota statement, and I even asked a certified Toyota mechanic and he hasn't herd that either.Re: Motorcyle rack behind trailer?Front of the truck. I may end up doing that with my Mt bikes and rackRe: So what are your plans for 2017?We haven't even taken possession of our TT yet (End of March) and I already booked us into 2 Wisconsin State Parks. One along Lake Michigan, another in New Glarus for Octoberfest. Also in Minnesota on the edge of the Boundary Waters. They're will be more.
