Need to check to see if AC (120v) is getting to one side of converter, and if so, check to see if DC (12v) is getting out of he other side.Re: Locked radio on my 2001 SuburbanMy Honda Ridgeline locks me out if I disconnect or replace the battery. 4-digit code is on sticker in glove compartment. No problem to bring up format to enter it to unlock radio.Re: Tire inflationCapriRacer I must take exception to the info contained in the above reply: Everything your note warns about is covered in the recommended pressure figure given for the load/PSI in the Michelin charts. (crowned highways, side-to-side differences, etc., etc., etc) If you start putting out personal recommendations you are just negating the good information provided by these charts. 5% 'RESERVE', OK if it makes you feel better. '40 YEARS IN THE RADIAL TIRE INDUSTRY, SEEN IT ALL AND DONE MOST OF IT'Re: Tire inflationDaCrema PERFECT ADVICE. Just can't figure out why more people don't do this very simple thing. By the way, that area of the Michelin website has a wealth of good general information on tires. Shame on every RVer if they don't read it. BUT, lots of folks seem to think the RV manufacturer knows more about tires than the tire manufacturer does, so they just blindly go by that little sticker on the door post.Re: JUst how many GB are needed?I own an RV park with free WIFI (a very fast, dependable system, I might add After reading this thread just being curious I looked at our tracking system for usage of the top 25 users for last 30 days. Highest user: 96.13 GB in 30 days. Lowest user : 21.08 GB in 30 days. Avg. for these 25: 46.83 GB Just for info.Re: What does tire date code '5317' mean?Ron3rd "Date codes differ from mfg to mfg but the info above could be correct." Beg to differ, sir. A portion of the DOT required alpha-numeric string can be used by the tire manufacturer for his unique coding, however the last 4 digits must, by DOT rules for every tire requiring DOT marking sold in the USA, indicate week and year tire was manufactured.Re: tiresYou may pay a little more but you will never be sorry you bought Michelin. Shop around.Re: OREGON STATE PARKS RANTDon't know about Oregon but in most states money is lost every day state parks are open, so states in the colder climates can't wait to close them.Re: Restrictions on older RVs.IMHO age restrictions at RV park are a stupid cop-out. The reason some parks have this restriction is because they have weak management of the park, so the owners say "don't take any RV over 10 years old" Smart ones go by condition rather than age. Sure wouldn't seem prudent to turn away a 25 year-old fully-restored airstream, yet let a 5 year old unit in with a couple of window units hanging on the side.Re: Upgrading to 35 lb tanks- super quick.First, you are talking about 20 lb (5 gallon) and 30 lb (7 gallon) cylinders. Most of the things you need to make it happen, in addition to the 30 lb. cylinders, themselves: Make sure there is no clearance problem that hinders installation of the taller cylinders. Probably longer lines leading from cylinder to regulator. You don't want these lines to be pulled tight. Longer all-thread center rod to hold them in place while you're traveling. A fiberglass cover for the taller cylinders. Otherwise, it is a very simple changeover.
