I believe the cost is $20 for lifetime. It downloads to your laptop/tablet/etc and does not use the internet except for updates.Re: Traveling thru Las Vegas heading north I-15Nothing to really worry about. Your best bet is to get behind a trucker in the middle lane once you to to the strip. Just stay behind them as they know which lane to stay in. I ain't bad.Re: Best roads between Nevada and Washington state?Been thru Winnemucca more than once. Just out of curiosity, where did you overnight there? Tx, Bob Us out West wrote: We were in Prosser in July 2015 and took I-84 to 95 to I-80 back home to Reno. 710 miles. Overnights were in Homedale, ID and Winnemucca. So the reverse will work well. Re: Pahrump NV CA-178 and CA-127 to I-15WTravel it at least once every 1-2 months. As others have stated, you won't win any speed races. Not a lot of traffic until you hit I15 at Baker, then the NASCAR races start. I am assuming you will be taking Hwy 58 to Bakersfield? Not a bad road, just a lot of 18 wheel traffic. BTW, I live in Pahrump.Re: 2015 2WD Toyota TacomaYes you can WITH a remco driveshaft disconnect. I towed my 2007 dbl cab for while with the roadmaster 1175-1 baseplate and remco disconnect. I changed toads but still have the equipment in my shed not being used.Re: Death ValleyChief, Do you know where you are staying in Pahrump yet? I happen to live there. Shoot me a pm if you want/need any intel. BobRe: Baseplate installation Honda Element - Easy?Did you install a baseplate yet?Re: Baseplate installation Honda Element - Easy?WoW, That is a great deal. My oldest son was looking for one like that when I bought his Element. Anyway, I would call Honda HQ in Torrence Ca and ask them about it. They have been very helpful for me. BobRe: Used tow equipmentDoug, I have used a ready brake on my wrangler(s). Found a used roadmaster tow bar for half the price of a new one. If you are handy, the ready brake is not hard to install yourself. With that being said, I just purchased an RVI brake system off craigslist. Tested it out today on my Tacoma. Works as advertised. Paid 1/2 price for it. I will be taking my Unified brake system off the Tacoma. Good luck with your search. Craigslist in a good source, so is IRV2.com as they sometimes have this kind of stuff posted in their classified. Bob
